King Cole Super Chunky Knitting Pattern Garter Stitch Cable or Lace Cushion & Blanket (5339)

Started knitting the cable blanket but gave up after several attempts- more suited to experienced knitters. Knit the lace trim blanket but again for the lace trim - pattern just didn't work out after several attempts ( even got a friend to try and no joy ).

This pattern came with a correction which I am grateful for, however, this is the third pattern in a row from king Cole which had multiple errors . The faulty instruction On the others only came to light whilst knitting which was infuriating. king Cole have alway been apologetic. I fail to understand why this is happening now after many years of knitting these patterns are the only one with errors.

Lovely cosy blanket. Knits up very quickly but I have found that I need more yarn than stated in the pattern. I used the yarn stated in the pattern and checked my tension.

Really easy to follow pattern with clear, simple instructions. There is a mistake in the pattern but it comes with a slip of paper explaining and correcting the error

Arrived before due date, as did my wool, so was pleased to get started! Nice clear pattern to follow. Very pleased with this item.

I used it to make a blanket - mainly to decide how many stitches to use.
