Wonderful device for signature capture. We use this to capture signatures in our nonprofit agency.

Update from 1 to 4 stars: After I'd arranged to return and order another signature pad, I received a response from their Tech Support that I'd e-mailed. Even though I'd called many times with frustration to get no answer or return calls, the email to Tech Support did get answered relatively quickly w/in 24 hours. Tech Support sent an email with steps for set up that were more detailed than had been included and they worked! Truly, if Topaz took that reps email (maybe it's a standard response??) and included it rather than what they had, or put it online, then that would be so much better. I'm now happy after what had been a crazy amount of time to get set up and in trying to contact their customer service by phone (which their directions said to). If you have any issues, don't bother calling Topaz, email their Tech Support instead. Good luck! Note: 4 stars reflects that it works just fine now, but deduct of 1 star for the frustrating set up and customer support.

Excellent and durable, of very good quality, I recommend it.

It took hours to install, Un-install, then install again with the "help" from customer service; only for it to still not work. I sent back. I regret the purchase. Thought it would be a solution during tax season for clients. This was a nightmare.

This is a great product that works as intended but above all, the email customer service is exceptional. They got me out of two headaches at work so far and always replied to me in what I recall was less than one hour and it might not have even been business hours (it was 5 o clock where I was). I've been on Amazon for at least 5 years now buying things left and right and this is the only company that wowed me so much I felt compelled to leave a positive review for. As far as the product itself goes, it does the job with no signature delay, it's instant, it's a million times better than what the UPS guy uses, it's got a larger screen too, and the device is sturdy as it has survived field-work with our inspector and outlived two laptops already (if only laptops were as strong as this little guy) This signature pad can do more than you might realize, working for microsoft word, excel, infopath, acrobat etc. Just check out their website (google Topaz Systems)

Connected it to a Windows 7 computer. Downloaded the software and addons for Microsoft Word. Converted a word document to use the signature pad which saved tons of paper. This also allowed the team to go to a resident and get their signature at bedside which is helpful. We are able to upload the contract digitally to our medical records. Before we printed a 150-200 page document which got signed and we had to scan it at the copier. This allowed use to skip most of the step and save money on printing the documents out. Topaz has instructions on how to use the add-ons on their website. Easy to install and get going.
