Works great especially for keeping sand out of our old wringer washer which I have set up on our back porch. Love the country life and having a filter that keeps water clean is a great asset. This is our 2nd one that we have purchased.

I installed one of these into my whole house water system about a month ago. We are on a well and have a lot of sediment that was clogging up the filters of our washing machine and on demand hot water heater. It was very easy to install. I used 3/4" Gator Bite connectors, as it was difficult to find the regualar compression fittings around here. It leaked a little bit at first, but I slowly tightened the fittings as well as used teflon tape and it is not an issue at all now. The clear housing is great as we can easily monitor the condition of the filter. The filter is now brown due to all of the sediment and there are particles on the bottom of the housing. It is nice to know that we are no longer putting that sediment into our appliances. I highly recommend it as it is cheap, effective, and easy to install.

The filter works as it should and at a good price. However, the inlet and outlets want to leak when you install the threaded adaptors if you follow the enclosed installation instructions. If you want to seal them the first time, wrap about 6" of tape around the threads AND make sure to put pipe dope on the tape / threads, otherwise it'll leak!!! I used Sharkbite threaded adaptors and after them leaking and taking them apart a couple times I added the pipe dope for no leaks. Also be careful not to cross thread the housings as it very easy to do!

I’m in love. It was very easy to set up and now I have health water running in my house. Now I hope my hair can grow from the clean water.

Update 6/20/26: Gave up in this new style leak-o-matic. It is now leaking around o-rings AND the bypass valve. Terrible filter housing. Terrible engineering and design. Cleaned the old unit today that I had used when on spring water and will be reinstalling it. It's an old single o-ring in canister lip vs new style double o-ring on housing threads. I wish the old style was still offered. Water blew out around reservoir seal when I turned on main water valve. Had to tighten reservoir another half turn to stop leaking! The 30 year old culligan filter unit this one replaced when I changed from my spring to municipal water NEVER leaked. Seems like more post-COVID quality control. If leaking issues persist I may clean old filter and reinstall it. Culligan, you can do better!

This filter does not come with a mounting bracket unfortunately so will have to do some fabrication. Other than that it seems like a decent whole house water filtration unit. I like the clear bottom so you can see the filter 👍🏻

Received within a couple days. Really like the clear casing, can tell if the filter needs changing with just a look. Also the valve on top is great, eliminating the use of isolation valves before and after the filter. I put two housings in line, one with 20 micron and one with 5, we are on artesian well and got fair amount of sediment. These work great!!!

Bueno la verdad yo le di otro uso muy diferente al de filtrar agua, pero su diseño, material que es transparente ayuda bastante para saber cómo está filtrando, y de qué calidad llega el agua al domicilio.
