**Q: Is the gold supposedto separate from the handle?  I can not detach them!**
A: Thank you for contacting Danco. This handle and "gold" are not suppose to detach from one another. The only thing that comes of is the "Shank Nut" item C on your instructions.

**Q: Will side mount work thanks**
A: No. Front mount only.

**Q: I have a TOTO ST703 Toilet and the replacement from TOTO is all plastic.  Will this one work with this toilet with the square tank hole for the lever?**
A: The square insert for this handle is 5/8”.  This handle just spins in the hole on my 3/4” toilet tank.  It’s very frustrating that none of the sellers list the hole dimension in their descriptions.

**Q: When I hand-tighten this, why does the bar sit in the water? Isn’t it supposed to be out of the water so it will last longer?**
A: place the handle so the bar is level, then tighten
