There are many similar sets on Amazon and almost all of them have customer question about set case. I want to tell you from the beginning that the case in this set is great. It has three layers: leather looking PVS on top, rigid cardboard in the middle and felt inside. Scissors can not poke through. One could use it as a clutch. It has extra slot for an additional tool you might own. I actually bought this set because of a tool rack. I am not good at putting stuff back where it belongs and that wonderful case has no value for me. Tool rack turned out to be very handy. It is possible to attach it on top of a vertical surface, like rimless aquarium wall or to a side of vertical surface. I drilled 2 holes in the aquarium stand door and used screws provided in the set. I used #10 washers (not included) under the screws. Rack sits steady, does not wobble. It has 2 extra slots. Great. Sadly, I an not impressed with tools themselves, as I am impressed with the case and tool rack. I have scissors from Fluval, API and Mandala, that are sold individually ( API scissors are my favorite). Tools from this set do not feel as good as other tools I have because they are made from lighter and softer steel. I definitely prefer heavier and sturdier (and more expensive) tools. But I am comparing apples to oranges here because the tools I mentioned are from very different price range. Sorry, can not compare to the similar priced set. On a positive note, tools do not rust. I do not wipe them (expensive Mandala scissors rusted overnight after first use because I did not wipe them). Scissors cut, spatula smooths gravel. Tweezers did not hold plants well in the beginning because their legs were absolutely straight. I bowed tweezer's legs slightly to make a skinny oval, and now they work properly. All in one, good value for the money.

All tools were of a nice weight and finish. The tools feel good in my hand, perform tasks as expected (cutting plants, picking up and placing objects in tank). The zippered tool pouch is handsome, with a nice velvety black interior with elastic placement holders for keeping each tool neatly in place. The metal tool holder is a bonus. I will secure it to my tank cabinet storage door to keep tools ready and neat. Everything looks well made, very pleased.

Ottimo prodotto, il set comprende pinze, forbice, paletta per smuovere il ghiaino. L'astuccio è perfetto per riporle ordinatamente. Molto comoda la rastrelliera per poggiarle in verticale e ordinatamente. Le ho da un mesetto e non posso esprimere il mio parere sulla qualità del metallo, ma credo dureranno nel tempo. Le consiglio.

This kit is great. I dry them with a cloth or paper towel after use. No rust. Nice tension on the tongs. Case is super handy and keeps my aquarium area organized.
