I was happy to find these cherry blossom placemats. I searched everywhere. Quality is decent and beautiful on my table accompanied with silk cherry blossoms in a vase and pink tablecloth.

These are very nice , I love the fact that you can just wash them off and they are clean

I entertain a lot and one of the events I love the most is the "Girlfriend Lunches" where I limit it to 4 people. I invite two of my girlfriends and ask them to bring one of their friends. It is a great way to expand our horizons to meet new and interesting people. We have a lot of fun, good food and great conversations. I find the best table always start with a great place mat as the foundation for the settings. These placemats are beautiful, delicate, but sturdy. I am sure I will be hosting many delightful lunches in the future.

I gave 4 stars rather than 5, because, although I'm really happy with these mats over all, they are not super easy to clean. They get easily stained by drips of sauces, and other small food spills. Even when you quickly wipe them down, some parts of the sauce or food sinks into the woven textured material and stays there! Unlike smooth plastic surface that wipes clean easily.However, that being said, I actually like the woven textured material - it makes the mats look and feel higher quality than some cheap plastic ones. And, they are SO pretty and exactly the design I was looking for.I'm thinking of trying to soak them in a bathtub with bleach, to see if I can get some of the little stains out... Maybe that'll work... Again though, over all, I'm pretty happy with them and am glad I got them.

i purchased it for my mother in law bday party and it was perfect. It is wipeable and looks very pretty on the table. I didn't realize that it comes two designs within them. but it does not look bad.

I loved these placemats when they first arrived - so pretty. But after using them, I realized they are not good quality. Unlike most plastic placemats, they are made of a thin material full of little pockets (the "woven" part) that trap debris. They are difficult to clean (you have to use a scrub brush) and they stain easily. I would not recommend.

One of the styles is really beautiful, but you only get 2 of each style. I wish they were reversible with 2 styles so that you could match all 4 mats if you wished.The surface is a pretty weave texture that gives it a more natural bamboo look, but unfortunately, if you drip anything like soy sauce into it, it soaks into the weave and into the backside and there doesn't appear a way to remove the stain! Perhaps that is the sacrifice in order to get the weave texture. Otherwise, I would suggest they coat it with a smooth layer to prevent food from spilling into the weaves.
