Otuoro Men's Handmade Black and Brown Leather Belt with nickle reversible Buckle

I love this belt. It's the best I've ever purchased. The custom fit is the best part. Beautifully wrapped in an elegant red box with instructions to get the perfect fit.

The Otuoro revesible belt is a nice belt that could have been a great belt with some design changes.It is great that the belt is reversible and the material itself is nice. You get a whiff of leather as soon as you open the nice box in which the belt arrives. However, the end of the belt that people see is cut square instead of the normal tapered shape. This gives the belt the appearance of being off or not finished and makes it more difficult to run the belt through belt loops. The buckle includes a tall metal loop through which the belt passes. On most belts I own, this loop is leather which is much nicer and gives the belt a lower profile. The metal loop was added so that the length of the belt could be shortened which is a really good idea, but it could have been done better.The ability to shorten the belt to fit you exactly is a very good one. There are instructions for removing the buckle, cutting the belt and then reinstalling the buckle on the cut end.I think that by just improving the finish of the belt by tapering the end as is normally done, this could be a much better belt.

After receiving a belt from this company that was completely inappropriately sized (the site said up to 38" but wrapping around my 35" waist, I could hardly even make the ends touch), this one came and is so much better. I can actually use it!Now, I don't think I've ever reversed a reversible belt, so I'm not qualified to go into how well that works. But I am a guy with a waist, and I often wear pants, and those pants often need a little assist to stay up, so I AM at least somewhat qualified to talk about belts.So... it's a belt! It's leather, it smells good, and I haven't had it long enough to talk about its longevity. I'd expect it to last a long time. The leather seems to be a high enough grade, a tad stiff but that might change over time. After all, it's going to have some serious work to do.

First, from the end of the buckle to the end of the belt measures 49 ¼ inches. This works well for me. This belt has a brown and black side. The buckle can be removed to either reverse the belt or trim it. For the moment, I am going to leave the belt just as it came in the mail.The belt buckle measures exactly three inches from the tip to the belt enclosure and the belt measures 1 ¼ inches wide. I would call both the buckle and width of the belt medium in size. The leather for this belt is soft and supple. It feels good to the touch. This belt is simply made without decoration, but it looks good exactly as it is. Recommended.

This is SUCH a nice belt - I had no idea what a high quality piece this was going to be. My nosy co-worker saw me unboxing and came running right over. "I LOVE THESE MEN'S BELTS!" She cried and picked it up and in one smooth move showed me the coolest trick to pivot the belt buckle - today you can wear the black side - swivel the buckle and you are all good to go tomorrow with the brown side! SOOOO COOL! The belt is thick, more than an 1/8 of an inch and is about 43" long. It is PERFECT for my son. IF my co-worker doesn't steal it! lolThe belt comes boxed and would make a lovely gift.There are directions on how to adjust the length if you need to cut some off. We don't but you might.GREAT BELT! COOL swivel buckle. Lovely gift packaging.

This is a very nice belt that's suitable for casual/business casual to dress wear. The silver belt is rich looking and sturdy while the leather is finished smoothly. It's convenient that it's reversible to wear with most any color, for those that may not have a ton of better belts.My son was happy to receive this and immediately began reading the neatly included instructions on how to size and reverse it. It's an easy process and was quickly adjusted.This comes boxed in a hard, cardboard box, in a plastic bag, ready for gifting.My only concern is how it will wear over time and I'll update if I have more to add.

I think that this is a nice belt, but nothing particularly out of the ordinary. The buckle is reversible but feels very average. The strap is sturdy and nice quality, but a bit stiff in that the end will curl a bit if you reverse it until you bend it a few times to get it into shape (that's normal though, I think). The coloring is nice and consistent on both sides.It looks nice but doesn't feel as nice as my other belts that I paid about $30 for. I'd put this in the $10-$20 range, and if you can get it for that, it's not a bad deal. I do like it, though, so four stars from me.

It’s tough to buy a belt that fits right online. If you must, this is a decent compromise between a good belt that fits, and a belt that fits.The biggest compromise is the thickness of the buckle. This is more obvious with thinner materials. If your pants are made of substantial material like canvas it’s less noticeable.It is easy to adjust the belt. Just twist the buckle half-way like you are going from a black belt to brown, and then open it from the back, take the belt out, cut off the excess, and put it all back together.Now you have a belt that fits (but with a buckle that’s thicker than it ought to be).
