This thing is built solid and operates so smoothly and easily. My old kind left my hands sore after time on the roof. With this, I was able to seal the shingles, vents, and skylights and there was no pain or fatigue at all. I would never use anything else.

Why didn't I buy this a long time ago, been making do with the cheap ones and killing my hands, this is so much easier to use.

So I'd like to start by saying this gun is built to last I am a painter who has been caulking new trim and woodwork for 29 years a good caulk gun is essential I used to get the home Depot brand but they have changed so much they're not the same. I also would like to say I ordered the same caulk gun a couple months back and received a red one I think it's supposed to be the newborn brand but it is inferior to this gun I should have sent it back immediately but I thought I'd give it a chance. After using it for a while I decided let me try again they probably sent me the wrong gun and they did they sent the one that is in the picture like they should have the first time and let me say this is an amazing gun. If you want a dripless gun look elsewhere to me dripless guns are garbage I have so much caulking to do in the brand new homes that letting go of the handle I need to be able to keep moving even before squeezing it again it is just second nature to press the button to stop the caulk from flowing I do not even realize I am pressing the button to stop the car it is just a habit I was trained on these kind of guns and they are the best they also spin and pivot for caulking door casings that is great with this gun I can call a complete door casing in under 2 minutes I do not like dripless guns I want the flow to continue while I am letting go of the handle and squeezing again also this is 18 to 1 thrust ratio. If you do not know what that means most other guns like home Depot are 10 to 1 or 12 to 1 which means you have to squeeze the handle harder to get the caulking to flow this kind of gun is even good for heavier materials like liquid nail or others but if you're just using your basic painters acrylic caulk you gently squeeze it and it comes out great always with a small tip hole cut. Now I really wish the first one I ordered was the proper one then I would have two my girlfriend also works with me and she could have one they are a little expensive but man are they worth it from now on this will be the only caught gun I ever purchase durable it looks nice I love the colors not that that matters but it's nice to have a good looking tool especially when it performs like no other can and I have used so many different types of caulk guns over the years I purchased maybe seven different types from Amazon and this is the only one for me from now on my girlfriend loves it also. If I have anything negative to say about this gun is I do not like the poker that is on the side of the gun because that is the way you hold the gun and sometimes it pokes your hand it would been nice to have the poker on the side of the handle tucked in. But that is a minor minor issue if I needed to I could rip it off I wish I would have been using this gun a lot sooner because I love it so much I could be there spokesperson to demonstrate this is an amazing caulk gun if you are a professional cocker and I mean professional and know what you're doing and want a gun that has continuous Flow and only stops when you press the button don't look any further I tried looking at reviews of this gun and other guns nobody has a review that let you know if a gun has continuous Flow until you press the button I'm here to let you know this is not dripless it will continuously flow until you press the button and that is the way a great caulk gun should be five stars all day I would purchase again but hopefully this will last a long long time.

I've use a number of caulk guns over the years and had a decent sized project coming up so I started looking to see if there was one that seemed better than the rest. The reviews on Amazon pointed me to this one so I gave it a shot. It is by far the best caulk gun I have ever used. It feels great ergonomically, has a smooth delivery of caulk/construction adhesive, it has a built in caulk tube "piercer" and even has a cutter to cut the end of the caulk tube off. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this device warranted some accolades. You won't be disappointed.

Relatively affordable, but SO much better than my cheapy from the home improvement store. The caulking flows so easy and makes any job so much easier, and my hand never gets tired. The only little knock against it is having to learn how to stop the flow when reaching an end point, because it wants to keep flowing. If your tip is clogged, this may push through the bottom of the tube, so have that tip cleared out of any hardened debris. No picture, because it looks exactly like the picture on the product page. I’m just a home DIY’r, not a pro, so this review is from that perspective.

Buy this gun! I suppose I shouldn't write this so so after opening the package, but felt I need to share a thought or two. Like SO MANY OTHERS, I have had the $7.99 caulking guns from big box stores all my life. One gets used to the slip and slide of the gripper thingy on the steel rod. Like a bad marriage, we simply get used to it. I digress... The other day, I was once again "trying" to apply a bead of fairly heavy asphalt roofing tar from a tube and my trusty, always-guaranteed-to-slip $7.99 +tax gun held up to its quality. I must have pumped that damn thing 20 times to get the rod to move a centimeter. Needless to say, when the tube was finally finished I had squeezed that handle a gazillion times! That is when I said I had had enough and went online to get a high quality gun. I found it in this one! I think, as I haven't used it yet. I just could not stop working the mechanism when I got it out of the box. TRUELY amazing function! And, it really appears that I could use this for a vise if need be! Smooth and worth every penny I am sure! Now, I only need to wait for the next caulking need to try it out. If it fails, which I see no reason, I will edit this review. But in the mean time, I will continue to play with it because it functions so well. Oh, one more thing...don't get your finger between the pusher and end of the gun and squeeze, you will likely loose it! Buy this gun, it will be the best $25 you ever spent!

This caulking gun is the best I've used so far. Sturdy build and smooth operation.

Nice to use, easy to use, smooth operation and kicks the landscape adhesive out easily compared to our other run of the mill caulk gun. We struggled to get halfway thru a normal tube and almost impossible to get the last of the caulk out at the end. The normal gun would start to bend due to the pressure we exerted and the resistance of the caulk. Plus the average one was hard to control when you have to press so hard with 2 hands. What a pain in the behind, but this one? This one was one hand complete control and good, even flow with this stiff caulk all with ease. We haven't used the rotating frame for caulking as we aren't doing any corner work, however it is nice to finish a cartridge and rotate the barrel to drop the empty one out. Very nice indeed and worth it despite this landscaping project possibly being the only project needing the extra strength. Sometimes it's hard to judge whether an item is worth 3 times the cost of a normal lumber yard item is worth the investment: this one proved it absolutely was! Only thing we struggled with is the tip cutter (getting an angle we liked) and probably due to inexperience and definitely not anything to deduct any part of a star. It's really nice.

This gun has an excellent pressure ratio with the trigger. I like how the barrel revolves so you can change tubes in a multitude of positions safely, it's got all the regular bells and whistles like a retractable lance and a tip cutter. There are a lot of careful design features that you start to notice after a while of using it. The way the hook spins, how the lance isnt positioned at the end of the gun you would maybe want to hold. How smooth, but solid and non porous the entire construction of the tool are. This isn't your average silicon gun and if you're even remotely on the fence between this one and anything else. Just give this one a go. This will be gun #6 or 7 for me and I have never been this impressed and I even tried the fancy ones that split the tube as you go as well as the battery powered ones(that are also good in some applications)

I bought this gun to replace an old cheaper caulking gun that just didn't have enough power for some of the caulking I was using. My hand was getting pinched and hurt every time I used it and I could never put a nice smooth bead on anything. Then I decided to try this one based on reviews...no turning back. This was so easy to use, even with thicker than normal caulking, and I am able to put a nice smooth bead around doors, windows, bathtub, etc with very little effort. The only downside, if you would call it that, is that if you are using a previously opened tube of caulking that happens to be plugged up at the nozzle end due to drying, this gun is so powerful that with very little force, the caulking will take the path of least resistance...that being the back (wide) end of the caulking tube and makes quite a mess for cleanup when it squirts out. But that is no fault of the gun, just the tube or user. Would buy again in an instant if lost, and shouldn't have waited so long to buy quality...you do get what you pay for. I'm sure this last a lifetime for me.

Definitivamente no es una calafateadora de bajo presupuesto. La relación fuerza-presión es más que suficiente para una operación suave no importando lo duro del cartucho. No es cara así que vale mucho la pena pagar la diferencia.
