I have very small hands?** A: I would rank it as standard/normal compared to other guns I have or have used. At the top, where the base of your thumb knotches into the back handle and your index finger wraps around to squeeze the front handle, it measures 2.75 inches. Keep in mind that the mechanical advantage on this gun makes it much easier to squeeze than many others. **Q: Would this be good for someone with a weaker grip or smaller hand? The cheapest caulking guns are hard to use and the battery powered are expensive.** A: Yes, I think this caulking gun would work great for weaker grips and smaller hands. I'd buy it and stay away from battery powered guns. **Q: Does it have a lever in the back to release the pressure?** A: yes...you just hit it with your thumb and the flow immediately stops **Q: does this gun handle the smaller 3m cartrige, or do you have a model that does** A: This gun is made to use standard 1/10 gal sealant cartridges, which are approximately 8 1/2 " long. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow! No more pain or hand fatigue *by A***R on August 20, 2026* This thing is built solid and operates so smoothly and easily. My old kind left my hands sore after time on the roof. With this, I was able to seal the shingles, vents, and skylights and there was no pain or fatigue at all. I would never use anything else. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So much easier to use than the cheap ones *by N***K on September 17, 2026* Why didn't I buy this a long time ago, been making do with the cheap ones and killing my hands, this is so much easier to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best caulking gun ever. I'm a Painter of 29 years *by J***Y on April 11, 2022* So I'd like to start by saying this gun is built to last I am a painter who has been caulking new trim and woodwork for 29 years a good caulk gun is essential I used to get the home Depot brand but they have changed so much they're not the same. I also would like to say I ordered the same caulk gun a couple months back and received a red one I think it's supposed to be the newborn brand but it is inferior to this gun I should have sent it back immediately but I thought I'd give it a chance. After using it for a while I decided let me try again they probably sent me the wrong gun and they did they sent the one that is in the picture like they should have the first time and let me say this is an amazing gun. If you want a dripless gun look elsewhere to me dripless guns are garbage I have so much caulking to do in the brand new homes that letting go of the handle I need to be able to keep moving even before squeezing it again it is just second nature to press the button to stop the caulk from flowing I do not even realize I am pressing the button to stop the car it is just a habit I was trained on these kind of guns and they are the best they also spin and pivot for caulking door casings that is great with this gun I can call a complete door casing in under 2 minutes I do not like dripless guns I want the flow to continue while I am letting go of the handle and squeezing again also this is 18 to 1 thrust ratio. If you do not know what that means most other guns like home Depot are 10 to 1 or 12 to 1 which means you have to squeeze the handle harder to get the caulking to flow this kind of gun is even good for heavier materials like liquid nail or others but if you're just using your basic painters acrylic caulk you gently squeeze it and it comes out great always with a small tip hole cut. Now I really wish the first one I ordered was the proper one then I would have two my girlfriend also works with me and she could have one they are a little expensive but man are they worth it from now on this will be the only caught gun I ever purchase durable it looks nice I love the colors not that that matters but it's nice to have a good looking tool especially when it performs like no other can and I have used so many different types of caulk guns over the years I purchased maybe seven different types from Amazon and this is the only one for me from now on my girlfriend loves it also. If I have anything negative to say about this gun is I do not like the poker that is on the side of the gun because that is the way you hold the gun and sometimes it pokes your hand it would been nice to have the poker on the side of the handle tucked in. But that is a minor minor issue if I needed to I could rip it off I wish I would have been using this gun a lot sooner because I love it so much I could be there spokesperson to demonstrate this is an amazing caulk gun if you are a professional cocker and I mean professional and know what you're doing and want a gun that has continuous Flow and only stops when you press the button don't look any further I tried looking at reviews of this gun and other guns nobody has a review that let you know if a gun has continuous Flow until you press the button I'm here to let you know this is not dripless it will continuously flow until you press the button and that is the way a great caulk gun should be five stars all day I would purchase again but hopefully this will last a long long time. ## Frequently Bought Together - Newborn 250 Super Smooth Rod Caulking Gun - Revolving Steel Frame | 18:1 Thrust Ratio | 1/10-Gallon Capacity - Newborn Octogun 930-GTD Drip-Free Caulking Gun - Gator Trigger Grip | Fits 1/10 Gallon Cartridge |10:1 Thrust Ratio | Smooth Hex Rod Cradle with Built-in Smoother Tool | Scraper & Plug Included - ALLWAY CT31 3-in-1 Caulk Tool for Removal and Application --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/1096966-250-super-smooth-rod-caulking-gun-revolving-steel-frame-18](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/1096966-250-super-smooth-rod-caulking-gun-revolving-steel-frame-18) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
