Control panel didn't turn on
The problem I had is when you went to turn on the dryer the control panel screen just flashed once. I took the back off the dryer and located this part on the vent tube and installed new one that was a perfect fit. Put my dryer back together and I have never been happier to see it say welcome. If you have the problem I described them I highly recommend. It was easy to fix and worked perfectly.

Early burn-out ?
Old Frigidaire dryer. The original fuse lasted 22 years so I bought one of these for a replacement. After replacing the fuse and cleaning out 2 decades worth of lint that had accumulated in the exhaust path the dryer ran for six months before blowing the fuse, again. This time I just swapped out the fuse.No rhyme or reason why the first replacement fuses blew.Upside, it's really easy to change.Unplug dryer.Take a paint scraper/putty knife and jam it in the gap between the top and body at 2 locations in the front to release the locking clips.Swing the top up toward the back and prop it open.Remove the 2 small hold-down screws on the fuse then disconnect the two push-on connectors and remove the fuse.Mind not to drop the screw(s) or you will have to open the access panel by the vent hose in the back or remove the drum to get to the bottom of the cabinet.Install the new fuse with the 2 screws then plug in the 2 wires.Close the top and give it a good slap for the two latches to snap in place.Plug it back in.Test drive.

Right part, good quality, was slow to ship.
I disliked that this product was slow to ship. They said it would be here in a Saturday and it did not show up till Monday. I ordered it on a Wednesday morning, from GA to Mississippi.
