Love Fender's coiled cables.
There arer so many junk cables out there, that when I find a good one I have to share it. These coiled cables from Fender are absolutely top tier. The connectors are high quality, heavy duty, and well attched. The cable itself is heavy duty, thick, and durable. Having the option of a straight or right angle plug is also a big plus for my needs.First, I prefer a coiled cable after being confined to a wheelchair for some time. The coiled cable stayed out of the way easier, and spent less time under the wheels getting destroyed. This is the main benefit to a good coiled cable. The other benefit is if you have a particularly bright sounding guitar or rig as I do. The extra length and capacitance of these type of cables acts as somewhat of a low pass filter, shaving off some of the harsh high end. If you have a darker setup, this might be undesirable, but with my tele/marshall rig, it's excellent. By using the cable as part of the tone shaping it allows for an easier time dialing in the treble in the effects pedals and amp. In my experience it is better to make small adjustments over the range of your rig than to make one big tweak in a single device like your guitar's tone knob or the drive pedal. If you are considering a coiled cable, get it 3x as long as you need, and usually it will be 30'. there are shorter lengths, but they are often too short to work with, as the relaxed length of a 20' coiled cable might be as short as 6 feet. You don't want to have the cable stretched taught, even though this can be seen in old videos of Jimi Hendrix, it's not good for the cable or your jacks. A 30' cable like this will rest at aboput 10' and easily stretch to 15-20', more than enough. One last thing to bear in mind is the weight. This is a high quality, heavy duty cable that is coiled to 1/3 of it's actuial length, so it is really as heavy as three cables and this is another factor that many do not like, but I am used to it and hardly notice.

Amazing!
Love this cable. It just works. Never gets kinks or twists. A nice thick cable! It cuts out some hum in my jazzmaster.

Very heavy duty, and cool looking
This is way more heavy than I expected the loops are large, the wire is thick as well. The connector ends seem to be great quality and built well. The color is very cool as well. Some people say that a coiled cable kills your high end. I did not experience this at all, sounds just the same in my opinion, you just look way cooler

Exactly what I wanted!
Nice color... kind of a deep red. Looks kinda like a fluorescent red, but I don't think it glows, but it perfect.Fender, as always, makes quality cords thatlast. I wrote my name on it 1st thing. This cable has both ends straight with a 1/4" connector. This is perfect for guitars with angled plugs, which Fender has done to mininize stress on cables and plugs (male and female.)*Note: not all guitars have angled plugs. Those that have plugs at a 90ยฐ angle from the guitar face you'll want to get a 90ยฐ angled cord, instead of this one. Fender makes these, too, and they're available here on Amazon.I love the color! It looks better in person!!!I'll prolly keep this one for playing gigs, as I imagine it'll pickup dirt like every other cable I've owned, to keep it nice for shows, and use black ones for every day. What else an you say? This is a Fender cable, a d Fender makes the best cables for guitars, IMHO.I wondered about the color, but it's perfect, and will help keep cables straight on stage.Thank you, again, Fender!!!

Just buy it. You will not regret.
Looks really cool with a strat! The color is very vibrant. I would go so far as to say my guitar sounds โbiggerโ with this compared to my 12 ft mogami with neutrik jacks

Quality cable
Does precisely what it needs to and looks great.

It works great! Looks great!
High-quality heavy duty!! Matches my guitar, I have a different color strap though. Reminds me of the 1970s when I would stretch the phone cord into the laundry room so I could talk to my girlfriend. I donโt do that anymore. I have a wife. highly recommend both the cable and the wife

Very substantial - both good and bad
Great quality cable. Looks and sounds great. One surprise is how large the coils are. I have other coiled cables, which are all fairly similar. This one is significantly thicker. Pros of that is I'm sure it's durable. Cons is it's a bit hefty. Noticeably more that a typical straight cable, and even more than other coiled cables I've used. I got this mainly for studio/rehearsal used, where I'm sure it will be fine. But, I might find it a bit cumbersome for live use. Others may like the weightlessness of it. Just something to know before ordering.
