HANDY STORAGE BOX
I've purchased two of these. Really handy storage if a bit smelly inside to start with. Needs airing but otherwide great product and easy to assemble. You just fit the feet. Easy. Would recommend for unobtrusive smart storage at a reasonable price.

Well made and looks more expensive than it is
Nice, solid storage footstool - goes with my sofa and chairs but .... separate lid from main body - needed to be hinged for 5 stars.

Quality?
Nice sturdy footstools and love the colour. Unfortunately the quality of the upholstery is not very good, also there are no fire regulation labels, I thought all upholstered products had to have the attached?

Great value footstool
Bought this footstool a couple of weeks ago and it is such good value we bought a second one, which has just arrived. Takes 2 minutes to assemble and is the perfect height and size. The top is well padded and comfortable.

Great little storage box, handy occasional perch
Bought this despite some of the bad reviews and can honestly say there aren't really any issues. No, there are no instructions but it doesn't take a genius to figure out. I can see there's a guide in the photos though. The only part I wasn't sure about was which way up the baseboard is supposed to be - doesn't seem to matter but I chose the flatter side up and the dotted ring down. All you do is unfold the main storage part and push the baseboard to the bottom of the storage area. Then take one of the metal corners, place it over a corner on the underside and line a leg up so the screw goes through the metal plate, then through the hole in the main unit and into the hole at the corner of the baseboard. Repeat for each corner. We found this a bit of a pain as the screw is short so it's hard to line up while also keeping the baseboard flat against the bottom. Still, I did one leg by myself, even though I have arthritis. The other half did the other 3 and had it sorted in a couple of minutes. Once that's done, pop the lid on and that's it.As regards sturdiness, ours has had a 17 stone person sat on it today with no issue. I'm not surprised about the review with the photo of the collapsed legs when the reviewer admitted they hadn't put the metal corner supports on. This should have been obvious to anyone with a bit of common sense. It's quite low and not really meant as an everyday seat but the description doesn't say it is, plus it's under 30 quid so what do you expect? As an occasional spare seat if you have a lot of visitors or for perching on while you get your shoes on, it's fine and seems like it'll be fine as a foot rest too.Capacity-wise, the dimensions aren't accurate. I measured mine at 34cm square internally and 37cm externally at its widest (the lid). Not sure about the internal height as it had already been filled before I decided to check it.It looks really nice, great for my needs and excellent value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another.

Great value
For something that is so reasonably priced, it’s great quality, very sturdy. Would definitely buy again. The only slight issue is that the sticky pads keep falling off the bottom of the legs but have resolved that myself with sticky back tape.
