But keep in mind it is white oak already, which quite nice. Might make more sense to find edge banding that matches the stain you want (which might be cheaper). Also worth noting that if you want it to much, the glue will show through and not accept the stain. **Q: what is the thickness?** A: About 1/16th" thick. **Q: How does this banding perform (adhesion) when using stainless steel as a substrate? Is the glue sufficient?** A: I never tried using SS as a substrate, only other wood products.
