Good protection for A5 notebook and good value for Tomoe River paper.
The cover for the journal is made of strong material, seems well-made, carrying loop on spine, a close fit on the Tomoe River notebook, which was my reason for buying. Although a close fit, it zips easily and I can get a pen inside. It is listed as a field journal, so I think it is suited to it's described purpose, being small, light and transportable. I will see how the notebook holds up in use this year, I do not expect any issues with the paper, as it is excellent.
