Boiled 1 part Quinoa with 2 parts water, as directed, and put some sauteed veggies - Green, yellow and red capsicum, onions, carrot, curry leaves; also added some fried peanuts and lemon on top and it turned out yummy. This is a great breakfast - filling, tasty and nutritious. It's a rich source of protein with low purines, so even people with higher uric acid can have this as a source of protein. The shown pic is the bowl I prepared for my 5-year-old and he finished it in no time!Buy 1 get 1 offer made it value for money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for me & my baby *by F***A on Reviewed in India on 2 May 2019* #I have tried making it in multiple ways. All varieties taste good 👍#My 15 months old baby also liked it and eat with me every other day in breakfast.#It's very easy to cook, you can find many videos on youtube.#These are gluten free, and good for many who have allergy to gluten.#I have read a lot about its use for weight loss and ordered, I feel good and full after having this in breakfast.#Packaging is very nice, inside quinoa is clean & fresh.#I have made its upma, poha and used it as a replacement for the rice. It tastes great with dal, sambar, curry and any cooked vegetables. Just add 1:3 quinoa : water and salt to taste and use it as we eat steamed or boiled rice. Me and my baby are eating this twice Or thrice a week.##I have read about its side effects too.. Few people may not find it suitable for their health according to their health profile. ##**Thanks for reading my review, hope you will find it helpful, Click on the helpful button 👍 ** ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **GOOD QUALITY ORGANIC QUINOA**GLUTEN FREE & LARGE SEEDS**17 GRAMS PROTEIN PER 100 GRAMS SERVING** *by S***R on Reviewed in India on 29 April 2019* Though not very popular, Quinoa, mother of all grains, is now becoming a growing option to Rice / Wheat among the health conscious people. Quinoa helps in reducing weight and provide various nutrients to make your body function efficiently. To be very honest, Quinoa is not as tasty as rice, but has various benefits which are sufficient to overlook the taste of Quinoa. This ANS OLIVRA is organic quinoa, being grown in India. It is 'fssai' approved. The Quinoa seeds get expired in 12 months from the date of packaging. It is high in protein, gluten free and has all 9 essential amino acids, with being high in fiber, vitamins and various other essential elements. It has 9 grams of fiber and 17 grams of protein per 100 grams of serving. It is also good for bones and heart. Before consuming the Quinoa, you MUST thoroughly wash its seeds, 2-3 times, to get rid of saponin; else you may feel the taste of the Quinoa to be bitter. You can makes various dishes with Quinoa, some of it being Quinoa Fried Rice, Quinoa Fruit Salad, Quinoa Vegetable Soup, Quinoa with Egg Curry, etc. You can find a list of videos on the internet to learn about the dishes that can be cooked with Quinoa. If not, you can just make a Khichdi out of it, just like you would make with rice. You just have to cook it 2-3 minutes extra. So, to conclude, I like this ANS OLIVRA organic Quinoa.
