Serves its purpose well. *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2024* Traveled to my parents house where I remembered by father had an old 220 stick welder. Rented a Tesla as that's what I drive at home and was disappointed to find out the 220 plug was a Nema 6-50. Hopped onto Amazon and ordered this which came in a day or two. Once it arrived, it plugged right in and did its job. It is very stiff, and the receptacle is tight, but when dealing with voltages like this, I wouldn't want it any other way. Appears to made well and I anticipate it will outlast my needs, if not me entirely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Heavy duty and well made *by P***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2024* Works great. Very sturdy. Using it for a 32 amp car charger. So far, very happy with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars ONETAK adapter caught on fire and melted *by A***. on Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2023* Second update (with yellow sleeve): After using it under continuous 6kW load there have been no problems. The adapter does not even get hot. Changing my rating to five stars.----Update (yellow sleeve): After reporting the melted plug to ONETAK they sent me an updated version. It is working well.----The larger hot prong caught on fire, melted the plastic, and tripped the breaker. I recognize this is the older design (all black adapter) compared to the newly yellow sleeve, but this was a very serious hazard situation. Luckily, our house did not catch on fire. Someone else reported receiving a melted unit, as well. ## Frequently Bought Together - ONETAK NEMA 6-50P to 14-50R 240V 50 Amp 3 Prong Male Plug to 50 Amp 4 Prong Female Outlet Receptacle Generator Welder Dryer EV Charger Power Cord Adapter - Camco RhinoFLEX 20-Ft Camper/RV Sewer Hose Kit - Features Clear Elbow Fitting w/Removable 4-in-1 Adapter - Connects to 3” Slip or 3”/3.5”/4” NPT Threaded Sewer Connection (39742) - Camco Power Grip 30-Ft 50 Amp RV Extension Cord - Rated for 125/250 V/12,500 W - Features Copper 6/3 + 8/1-Gauge Wires for Superior Conductivity & Coated w/Heat-Resilient PVC (55195) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/109441071-nema-6-50p-to-14-50r-240v-50-amp-3](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/109441071-nema-6-50p-to-14-50r-240v-50-amp-3) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
