Princes Rhubarb in Light Syrup (540g) - Pack of 6

I finally got around to making a rubarb crumble this year It's just perfect

Quantity - taste is consinstence

All of the cans were quite badly dented but so far the contents seem ok

Can be eaten on it's own or put in a pie or put in jelly

We used it all very impressed

I bought the six cans wanting to keep some back. They arrived quickly but every can is dinted so I'll have to use them qyicker

I love this rhubarb,,but I find it quite difficult to buy in the shops so now I have found it online brilliant.I use it all the time on my breakfast

I really wanted fresh or frozen rhubarb but could find any so this was my go to. Being canned, the chunks were softer and packed in syrup which I forgot to cut back on my sugar. So my pie came out sweeter than it normally does. It was a great alternate. So I have enought left for another pie in the future.

A bit different than the variety we are accustomed to when buying fresh or frozen. As it is a green stalk variety it required a touch of red food coloring to make it more pleasing to the eye. It also has a much more mild flavor than that to which we are accustomed. But great flavor nonetheless. 4 cans drained made almost 6 cups which is what my pie recipe called for. It was a short lived pie with the family enjoying every bite!

As a former Brit I am used to using fresh rhubarb. Flavor of this product is good but I add a little sugar. Texture is slimy and thin and the product is kinda greyish green. If you hide it in a crust makes a good fruit pie though

I made pies with the canned rhubarb. Very good !
