Question 1

Can you use this on mature Plumeria trees with severe rust?  If not, what is the most effective product for SEVERE rust on Plumerias?

Once the rust is established, you will need to carefully remove any leaves with visible spots of rust, being very careful not to spread the fungus to non-infected leaves in the process.  Throughout the year, pick up all the fallen leaves as well - don't allow them to decompose into the ground.   Once you have removed the leaves with more than just a spot or two of orange, you can spray the entire plant, as well as anything surrounding the plant (pot, nearby walls, trunk of plant, etc) with this product and it will help keep the rust in check. I have searched the internet for a magic solution to treat the rust once eatablished and come up empty.   Unfortunately, the consensus is that once it's established heavily, it's a process to remove - repeat applications of this every 10 days will help prevent, but not remove existing rust.   If you are diligent between now and next summer, picking up leaves as soon as they fall, and some occasional spraying in the spring, and especially leading into the wet season (when you first noticed rust appearing this year) you should be able to prevent another outbreak. I live near Orlando, it's the middle of the summer rainy season, and still no rust yet on my 10 or so plumeria trees.  Previous years, by now the leaves were covered in orange spots.

How many gallons of dilluted spray (following manufacturer's directions) does this make?

To spray it on my roses for powdered mildew disease, I am mixing one ounce of this product with one gallon of water.  That is a 1:128 ratio.  So a 16oz (1 pt) Immunox bottle can make 16 gallons of spray for me.  Other disease treatment may be different (for example, if some requires half dosage, then 32 gallons of spray can be made from one 16oz Immunox bottle).
