They are lightweight. They do not bother my sensitive ears. They seem to be very sturdy so far. I have worn them about 6 times already (in about a week) and they don’t pull or stretch my ears funny. The 6mm set is a tiny bit tight on my earlobe so I’d say if you have thick lobes they may be painful to close and could pinch (I have pinched myself a few times). The 6s do not fit right on bottom of lobe so will not wear them in that one.
