Great set, easy build, lots of playtime.
Was not as difficult as it looked. Many very small pieces.Too many flowers that 'clash' with each other as they are every different type of flower build type possible. But since there are so many you can eliminate some and still have plenty throughout. The rooms are a bit smaller than I thought they'd be but those who are used to lego modular/structure builds I think they're the same scale as usual. It was weird that the only male figure has a printed/unremovable beard but the two female figures can be any age.It is on the smaller side for real dollhouse play, but is still fun anyway because of all the moving parts and storage components. The swingset really swings, and the dolls can grasp the rope so they don't slide right off like most of the furniture. The walls are made up of mostly panels rather than a bunch of smaller bricks, I guess to make the large decals fit and probably also to make it a simpler build. The bathroom mirror decal is actually reflective. The butterflies, ladybugs and rosebuds are all about the same size and shape and are identical bright red so they can sometimes seem to be just red blobs scattered about, so I didn't really care for them. Individually they're all fine but when looking at all three in one scene it doesn't look right for some reason. I decided to keep the roses and am thinking of painting the butterflies to look a bit more realistic, and adding black dots to the ladybugs with my sharpie.Overall a great set, easy build and lots of playtime.

Fun Project!
- Surprisingly easy to put together because the pieces are divided up into numbered bags, and the directions tell you which bag of pieces to work with at a time to build each section of the house. MUCH easier than I remember the old LEGO's being years ago!- Innovative special pieces, stickers, etc. really make the lego house come to life- Took a good few hours to assemble at a family birthday party with various people taking turns working on it.- Quality LEGO brand, always very pleased with their products.- Quick shipping from Amazon, used the one day option with the prime membership and the gift was out the door quickly and at my door the next day.- Got the gift wrap option which turned out to be a nice blue felt like bag with a big yellow bow, kinda cool and surely better than wrapping paper which is garbage after you open the gift.- The gift message was just a computer printed message, the card left a lot to be desired so you may want to buy your own card to go along with it!-Thanks Amazon!

This was a truly amazing set. My daughter was turning six
This was a truly amazing set. My daughter was turning six, and I was amazed at how excited she was over this and how well she followed the directions to put it together. She's not normally known for her patience but we built this a room a day (there are 4 main rooms) and she stayed engaged and active through the entire building process. For months, she played with it exactly as we built it, but eventually, friends came over and it got broken. She still has the skeleton of most of the rooms, but she really loves playing with all of the accessories (the books, the food, the TV, the grill, the lawn mower, etc). They get used for play with pirates, barbie dolls, princess dolls, and other legos. The set has so many great little pieces! Her grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, and brothers all helped a little with the original building process and we all had fun and were impressed!

Great little house for girls of all ages.
My 11 year old daughter enjoys playing with Lego's when she stays with me. Her mom thinks Lego toys are too babyish for her age so won't let her keep any in her home (or Barbie for that matter). My daughters eyes lit up when she unwrapped her gift and saw what it was. However, I must point out that this took some time getting to me. I can't complain, as Amazon always has my merchandise to me quickly. I never wait more than three days. I guess I am spoiled. This Lego set took 10 days to arrive. Order was placed on the 21st, shipped out on the 25th, and arrived on the 30th. As I was to see the kids on the 27th, I went to Target and bought this house so she would have it waiting for her when she arrived. The price was the same in Target. When the house finally arrived, I simply returned it to Target. 10 days to receive my merchandise; this NEVER happens with Amazon. They used a Smart-Post service where Fed-ex delivers it to the USPS hub and they take it to your door. Not a very efficient way, but I guess it saves money somehow.Back to the review of the playhouse. I has roughly 700 pieces, in 7 or 8 separate bags. Took us about 1 hour to complete and she played with it for 2 days (we had rain). She has a number of other Lego sets as well. This is a great toy. As with all Lego's, I believe they are ridiculously overpriced. When I was a child, this would have cost, $15, maybe $20. $70 is insulting. Not Amazon's fault. Lego's fault. No matter your girls age. She will love this. I was actually impressed with the colors and the build quality. I am going to continue to buy her the complimentary sets. Hopefully, I can find them cheaper than retail.Would have gotten 5 stars if it was reasonably priced.
