It was easy to install. I think you could've installed it with a 4 inch holesaw. I went and bought the 4 1/8" hole saw. It's slid riding without a problem. It's nice and snug and looks great.. the plastic bug screen barely fit in there and didn't seem real tight so when I went to caulk the vent cover, and I put a dab of cock on the bug screen to make sure it didn't ever fall out. Given the opportunity, I would buy this one again.

We have a bathroom fan in our warehouse that exhausts through a combination of dryer vent flex hose, 4" PVC, and standard 4" dryer vent galvanized tubing. Where the pipe exits the building it's galvanized and wide open. Recently, we discovered that pipe had become a rodent highway from outside to inside. This vent cover snapped on to the 4" tubing quickly and easily, with a nice snug fit. And it appears to have stopped the furry traffic immediately. Two caviats: do NOT use this vent for a dryer exhaust because the screen will plug with linit and become a fire hazard. Also, it's pastic so it may degrade over time from UV. But at this price, even replacing it every few years would be worth it.

These Hon&Guan 4-inch round soffit vents worked perfectly for my project! The quality is excellent, the built-in fly screen is a nice touch, and they look clean and professional once installed. They fit snugly and provide good airflow for my bathroom and kitchen exhausts. Please make sure to check the pictures — the vents do come apart, which actually helps with installation and cleaning. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely buy again!

Awesome! Great fit and I like the side tabs that keep the vent in place. Still use a little caulk to keep the vent on the black housing because it will fall off. For the money it’s a solid product.

Made for mounting on surface that is no thicker than drywall. I used it in 7.5" concrete wall so I made a 4 inch hole and lined it with 4" PVC pipe. Vent wings allow it to stay in place and caulking around edges secured it to weather tightness. Airflow was adequate. Not installed long enough to speak on how well it stands up to the elements. Replacing will be a quick task though. Material seems robust enough to last for several years.

This vent looks ok in terms of quality but the fine screen would be next to impossible to clean (without uninstalling) once it gets clogged which would happen with any kind of a ventilation fan over time. The images to show off the product make it look like it comes apart but after prying at the product before installation it does not come apart, which is a deal breaker for me. If you have access to completely uninstall this after installation, it will work for you.

I ordered the 4 inch vent to replace a broken outdoor vent that leads into my cellar. This is decently priced, looks clean, and does the job. I like that it has the 3 tabs that help hold it in place of the concrete opening. The rodent/bug grate is a separate piece and I'm not sure why. Maybe to allow if anyone anticipates putting cables through the opening slots? I've had utility companies do this in my last house. I used some gelled superglue to keep it from coming off as it pops off if pressure is applied from the outside, inwards.
