Sturdy folding rack making it less obstructive when not in use
The best feature about this rack is that the part that the bikes sit on folds down when not in use. This way it isn’t necessary to remove it or have this large piece sticking out. The alternate straps are a must. We used the “wrong” ones first and struggled to get the straps over the bars but they were very secure. I would recommend getting a hitch lock to secure the rack to your hitch since it only comes with a bolt and nut. In reality, and of course depending on the bikes, it is probably really only a three bike rack. I can’t imagine squeezing another bike on it without risking damage to the gears. It is reasonably priced compared to others I looked at. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Great rack, no need to spend more $
Jersey to North Carolina and back and it was fine loaded up. Added a couple locking chains for security and the bikes were fine in the Six Flags parking lot during our pitstop near Baltimore and overnight at the hotel.Without any weight in the rack, I worried the bikes would bounce because the piece the bikes mount to has some give in it but once the weight of the bikes was on it, it didn't move at all.Important note from my experience- I added a hitch stabilizer cause the whole rack tipped front to back when unloaded. For a few extra $ it was well worth it, the stabilizer made sure the rack didn't budge.

Good quality
Got this guy and assembled it within 15 minutes and it fits super nicely on the back of our 4runner. The hardware is very good quality. Big bolts with locknuts are included as well as an extra pair of straps for the bikes. They really give you everything you could need at a great price. I definitely recommend. Plus it's about half the cost of the Allen equivalent. I like the locking pins that allow you to quickly fold down the arms and or the whole hitch so you can open the tail gait. Heavy duty construction and seems like it'll last quite awhile. 5/5

It works fine but needs tweeking.
Great unit. But where it connects with the receiver is flawed. 2 problems...1. It’s a sloppy fit.2. The hole for the lock that holds it in the receiver is too small for a standard receiver lock. They DO give you a bolt and nylock nut you can use, but that makes it a major pain to take it on and off.To remedy I will need to shim the receiver’s hole to stop it from being sloppy and drill a bigger hole in the unit to accommodate my standard sized master lock.

Excellent Rack!
This is a great rack. It’s well built and with the tilt back feature I can open my suv hatch with no issues. The pin system for folding is great and should last a lifetime. I have not put 4 bikes on yet but it manages 2 with ease. Minor issue so far is that the hole drilled for locking on the receiver is about 2mm smaller that not al and as a result I cannot use my lockable hitch boot on it. I’m curious how it will last with 4 bikes on it.

caution about this purchases
I bought this rack. Drove from Florida to Michigan. By the time I got to South Carolina my bike fell off on the highway at 80mph. i just bought my bike so to see it get damaged so fast by something i bought and was suppose to trust really let me down. Luckey no one was killed it was a beach cruiser which could have really hurt or even killed someone. my bike was valued at $700.00 now its worth less. :-(

Solidly Built
Easy to assemble. Sturdy. My only complaint is that I need to hulk out to put the bands on. They are strong! So you need to use a little muscle to lock the rubber secure bands. However, I really feel confident that the bike is secure and will not fall off. So pro or con you decide.I would recommend or buy again if ever need another.

Garbage
I got this for a long road trip from michigan to the grand canyon with two adult bikes and two childrens bikes. On the first 75 mile a bike fell off the carrier. I had to ratchet strap to keep them on. After 400 miles the bike carrier sagged so bad I thought it was going to snap. Thank god i had another ratchet strap and i could lift up the load with the holes in the bed of the truck. I ended up returning this item it was so bad.

Good for the money. Sturdy and easy to install. Receiver a bit of a challenge
Good for the price and easy to install. Only complaint (like others before me) is the hole in the receiver. Quite impossible. We ended up taking the parts from our old Thule and McGyver-ed it to our liking. Took it out once and it felt sturdy. Design also good - good access and good stowaway position
