Ok, first this is beautiful and very cool. The gold in the glass is spectacular on the amber light setting. The fan is unbelievable. Quiet and very good air flow. I have it in bedroom 18'×18'. Little patience to put up but not bad if you're good at stuff like this. Watch any of the installation videos with similar retractable fans. They're all pretty much the same. Took me about 2+ hours because I had to cut the existing ceiling wallboard more to fit this bracket flush against the support and then to fit the remote box above. I also had to put in longer screws to tighten the finishing cap to ceiling since I was not mounted on the ceiling board directly. No big deal. Still used the shorter drop bar, capped off the black hot wire since we also had a red hot. Red hot to black, white to white, ground to ground and works great!

This fan and light combo replaced our old 1970-somethings original, hanging in the entry way. It's new, exciting and simple to use. Several visitors have remarked on how nicely it represents and the air flow from the fan settings is amazing. Kids like watching the fan "put itself away" at the end of the day. It's fun and useful!! Recommend to anyone seeking an up to date change.

This fan and light are beautiful! It works great. It is every bit as pretty as it looks in the picture of the advertisement. I usually keep my fan on low during the night. It is very quiet. I love it.

If you are in the market for a fan, then this is quite the one. We have an old Victorian house that it goes very well in. The air that it circulates is amazing, too, even on low. We love how the blades disappear when the fan is off. We also love the different light settings. We had to have it installed because we are two old chicks with high ceilings and could never have done it on our own without great amounts of cursing. It took our electrician about an hour. I don’t think it glass, but it is some kind of resin or plastic, but looks just like glass.The price has doubled since we bought it, but if you can afford it, I think you will be quite happy. I even think in summer it’s going to be an huge electricity saver because it cools the room so well.If you are going to replace a light fixture with this, make sure you have adequate support above the ceiling for the fan. We had the beams and a crossbeam right where the fan housing attaches and a box that can handle a fan. You should be very careful of this because you don’t want your fan rockin and rollin. It’s very quiet and if it weren’t for the breeze it throws, we wouldn’t even know the fan was on.

The parts are all sturdy and solid. Heavier than you think. I had an electrician put it in because my leg is broken. He had it up and running in 35 to 40 minutes. I love the remote control. It works great sitting in bed with a busted leg, where I can't get up to pull chains or flip switches. It's a solid, well made fan. It's Tiffany style looks gorgeous. It uses LED bulbs, reminiscent of the large outdoor Christmas house decorating bulbs. It COULD be a little brighter, I used exactly what was recommended. When they need to be changed, I'll go with a slightly higher wattage. Great fan!

The light fixture is not what I expected although it is unique & attractive.The color of the base, rod & canopy appeared to be a matte brown color from the online photos as well as the online description states the color is brown which is one of the reasons I chose this light fixture.In actuality, the color is a very high gloss reddish-brown, emphasis on the reddish color especially in natural daylight. Fortunately, I also have red/burgundy decor in the nook so, it will still work for me.The shade is not made of glass, it is made of what appears to be capiz shells yet, it is well made & sturdy enough.The installation for this fan was similar to any other ceiling fan less the LED magnetic ring which secured to the base of the fan easily as well as the added LED junction box. I believe there should be 4 more magnets on the outer portion of the LED ring for a more secure bonding to the base of the fan. The enclosed manual & online installation video are extremely poor. Our ceiling & wall switches were already wired for a ceiling light fan so there was no issue there.The lighting is sufficient enough with the cold light & natural light setting over my nook table; the warm yellow light setting is more atmospheric. The design & material of the shade reduces the brightness of the LED lights considerably.The fan produces great airflow. There is no movement in the fixture or of the rod even at the high speed, it appears to be well balanced. The video (during the day) shows the fan from off to on at the speed of high, then medium, then low, & off again. There is not much difference between the high & medium setting. The low setting is plenty for above my nook table.I don't like the beeping sound on the remote at each function change. My other fan remotes are slient.The remote function for the lighting is not efficient. Once the light is on, the only other function for the light setting is off. For example, if you want to go from the cold white light setting to the warm yellow light setting, you have to turn the light on & off 2 times to get to the warm yellow light setting. Additionally, the light does not stay on the previous selected light setting when you turn the light off for a longer period of time then back on, it goes to the next light setting which is why I gave it a 3 star rating rather than a higher rating as well as the beeps from the remote & inaccurate color description.The uniqueness of the fixture is what sold me on the fixture however, standard fans at the same price point seem to be more solid/sturdy, work much more efficiently with the remote & are quieter. It turned out to be about sacrificing some of the quality for the uniqueness of the fixture for me.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: a year and a couple months later, light went out. Not that long of a life there.Very pretty!! Looks great, runs great. Only con, the color the light gives off is kinda weird. Went through all 3 settings, they all give off a very greenish yellow hue. Love it anyways.Install was fairly easy. Had to cut a piece of top piece to fit wires to put box in, but easy enough.

I absolutely fell in love with thos fan as soon as it came out of the box. Loved the separation of the hardware and the white gloves. You could tell the packaging that they take care of their product, which is what happened when I got it all up to find out it was missing the remote. I was devastated and messaged them right away ho0ing that I wouldn't have to rake everything down and to my amazement they sent me the remote right away. Very pleased all the way around.
