Great product, worked great and very easy to install. I’m a handyman and sometimes install high end gutter guards. This person wanted not to spend much so I chose these. This is the 6 inch verson, I’d allready installed for two yrs,,the 5 inch to,see,how well they worked on 1stStory……trees now tall,enough to clog the 2nd story so went again to these. While some leaves,,seeds etc stay on product at least not in gutter…big Kansas winds will eventually blow of debris

After several years of fighting with my gutters and cleaning them out from tree leaves and debris I decided to put covers on the gutters. It wasn't very hard, and I put on about 110 feet in a couple of hours, once I got the hang of how to do it the most efficient way. I only gave it 4 stars because I really don't have much history, yet. That being said, I have gone through rain and the gutters performed well. One of my biggest complaints is that the screws provided are not colored to match the gutters (mine are black). So, I have bright screws on my black gutters which my wife says no one will notice but me. (She may be right but black screws would have been nicer. Just sayin') I am happy with them and looking forward to skipping gutter cleanout days!

Measure the width of your gutters from front to back at the top. I accidentally bought 5 inch gutter guards at Costco and returned them. I have 6 inch gutters. I bought the 6 inch gutter guards here and they seem to be well-made, nicely coated with the paint, easy to install, and perfect shape for my “K” style gutters. Each piece has four screw holes in the front to screw into the top of the gutter lip and four screw holes in the back that I screwed into the aluminum flashing underneath the shingles. I went to Ace Hardware and bought a DeWalt 1/4” X 2 9/16” long bit with a magnet and it worked perfectly. The screws are not stainless steel or they would not have held onto the magnet bit, but for installation it worked in my favor, so I’ll see how long they last and if they rust, I’ll replace them. Zinc plated screws are much better quality today than they used to be. I had plenty of screws, a few left over, so I put one or two screws in the middle of the grid/drain holes where the pieces joined together so maybe the wind won’t affect them as much. As you can see from one of the photos, I fabricated around one of the corners to try to keep any leaves from slipping in. It’s not visible from the ground and it seems like it will work very well. Overall, I am very pleased and so thankful that now I don’t have to clean my gutters anymore. As this company slogan says, now I can keep my mind “out of the gutter.” 😊 I hope this review helps you.

The media could not be loaded. These Flowguard gutter screens are the best! Be sure to buy a 1/4” X 2 9/16” long bit with a magnet as this makes installation so much easier. Easy to install, cuts without effort and ships with plenty of screws. Fit perfectly. Material seems to be very durable. Love 'em!

Living in the mountains I get pine needles in our raingutters, these work great keeping the pine needles out and alowing the water to flow freely.
