not working
Spent hours soldering it together, had to find images on the internet to help as there is no instructions.Notice the spacing of the holes of the resistors is incorrect and they do not fit. . I had to bend the legs badly just to get them in place..Then after all this hard work, the device powers on and when you click seek + or seek - with headphones attached and the jumper in the middle (antenna selector for headphones input) - it cannot find a single station. Therefore its not working. I have my old walkman right next to it and I get 21 stations on FM and 10 on AM ... so this whatever this is is a failed product. Probably mostly due to the fact that it does not have any amplification of incoming signal.I do not recommend this and a kit as it simply does not work and its not good for environment to create such waste. I will be reusing the battery holder and LED the rest will have to go to the bin unfortunately.

An fm stereo radio for £5.99? What's not to like? Well....
As others have mentioned, this comes with no instructions, but there are Youtube videos to help and a 13 page guide is available here:https://abra-electronics.com/index.php?dispatch=attachments.getfile&attachment_id=599The first bugbear is the need to solder the surface mounted integrated circuit. My pensioner's eyes struggled with this- you need to solder one corner leg, then check that the others are perfectly aligned-no going back! The rest was straight forward and a reassuring hiss showed it was working but I could barely hear the stations. Maybe this works with the short aerial in cities but the rest of us have to add a decent aerial.A telescopic fm aerial works ok but by far the best reception is by using the headphone or earbud wire as an aerial- the longer the better. This involves moving the jumper marked ASW to the middle two pins.To tune, press the tune up+ or down- button once and WAIT for up to 10 seconds while it seeks the next station. Multiple or long presses don't workA good quality radio at an amazing price but not a beginner's project!

Great SMD solder practice but frustrating getting audio
After many purely practice Surface Mount Device kits this was my first practical project that involved at least one SMD IC as part of kit of regular through-hole components and was a breeze to assemble.Only slight pain was actually receiving a signal as I had to finagal my 3.5mm headphones to not be entirely in the jack to actually pickup and station (the headphones act as both audio and an aerial, common to most portable FM radios back in the day).

Fun simple project
Very easy to solder even though it came with no schematic, and works as expected (there are youtube videos to help). Just remember to put an antenna on. Ill be looking to integrate this with my raspberry pi at some point

Poorly finished PCB
The kit arrived with the pcb splattered with “solder”. Could be a bit disastrous for an unsuspecting new hobbyist. Also, no instructions/directions of any kind which makes the four pin header a bit of a mystery.

incompleto
