Was skeptical making purchase, but paid a bit extra for something that seemed more durable. This was very easy to set up. College daughter uses for LAX drills and so durable that college son now uses it for baseball drills. It is pretty big and heavy. That is a benefit for its use. I threw a ball as hard as I could and the frame did not move at all. Just know it is not easy to move around. Thought I would bring it into the garage each night, but it has stayed in the same spot since install. Highly recommend this.

We were in search of a high quality rebounder for lacrosse but didn't want to break the bank. This Champion Sports Lacrosse Pro Bounce Back fit the bill. The set up was fairly easy as my son and I were able to complete it in about 15 minutes. There are some steel tubes that slide into place and a couple of bolts to secure. The materials used for this rebounder are of high quality. If taken care of, I can see this rebounder lasting for years and years.Once set up, the rebounder is very stable and can be adjusted to multiple angles. The rebounding surface is basically a trampoline. It works very well and is very consistent based on how hard you throw the ball. The rebounder does fold flat for storage but it is definitely not what I would consider "portable". It is heavy and tall (unless you remove the lower legs). My boys have been using it every week and it has made a tremendous difference in improving their throwing and catching. In between uses, I fold it flat and store it in our garage.Overall, I highly recommend this rebounder and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again or recommend it to family and friends.

Edited for further update 6/10/2019:We purchased this product through Amazon on April 10, 2019. It lasted until the end of May 2019 before catastrophic failure. We have been in contact with the manufacturers customer support and I will update as to how that process goes.Update #2 6/11/2019After contacting customer support through both the website and telephone number provided on my Amazon.com past orders page I was asked to send photographs of the product for their evaluation. Approximately 24 hours later I received an email simply asking for my shipping details so that they could send me a replacement unit. I will provide a further update once the replacement is received and assembled, and consider changing my star review to reflect the prompt customer service response.Update #3 6/14/2019The replacement unit arrived on 6/12/2019, exactly one day after hearing from customer service that they would replace my first unit. They did not ask me to send back the original, I may try to see if I can have it welded back together as it would be a shame to send it to the junk yard.The pipes which the new unit was constructed from were clearly different than those of my first unit. It did not exhibit any of the QC issues that made assembling the first unit very difficult, with all the pieces fitting together easily, albeit with a little bit of play. (Note: I would rather have a little play than have to modify to assemble.) All in assembly took about 20 minutes with the help of my 8 year old.I am going to modify my rating to 3 stars (from 1) to reflect the responsive customer service experience and the quality of the second unit, but also keeping in consideration the experience with my first unit and the inconvenience caused by having to replace it so quickly. I also note that reading through other reviews, the failure witnessed in my first unit does not appear to be uncommon, and I was fortunate enough to have mine fail within the 90 day warrantee period.Update #4 5/10/2021Almost two years in, and after significant use last spring and summer, continues to perform very well. Stored outdoors last two winters and still holding up very well. Has been knocked over by wind multiple times and all of the welds have held. I am updating review to reflect excellent customer service response and performance of the replacement unit.I will update if required.----We purchased the product for our two children, ages 8 and 7, who are beginning to play lacrosse. Our decision was made based upon what appeared to be largely positive reviews and the attractive price point. Upon delivery the product appeared to be well manufactured and of good quality. Packaging includes simple but effective instructions and all the tools required to assemble (although if you have a decent tool box you will want to use your own).However, when we began to assemble the rebounder it became apparent that there were some quality control issues with the tolerances of the pipes not lining up and requiring some work to assemble.Once assembled the rebounder worked well for about a month. While it does not rebound as sharply as other more expensive units, it does return the ball at adequate speed. It is difficult to setup for more direct returns due to the inherent slope of the net in the highest position, but it was more than adequate for our children's purposes.Then one evening in late May (after about 40 days of ownership) we had some wind one evening which knocked the rebounder over face first (it is not very stable in its most upright setting), and it became very clear that the quality control issues we witnessed during assembly also pertain to the quality of the welding of the main frame. The frame that surrounds the trampoline rebounding net / surface broke on each side at the weld points holding the top and bottom halves together. The rebounder is now completely useless.You can now see, from the photos, how quickly the unit began to rust, raising further concerns over the longevity of the product. It has been stored outdoors in the Northeast US since delivery and assembly in mid April, so this shows less than two months life in normal (albeit rainy) conditions.

Our old STX bounce back had no bounce after 7 years. Searched for replacement kit and found this. Perfectly replaces the STX bounce back fabric and springs. Took a bit of muscle to install but worked great once I got everything mounted.

I have played and coached lax for 30+ years, so I'd like to think I know what's a good product in this space vs. what's not. My young kids are learning the sport, so I bought one of the ~$80-100 rebounders with the elastic bungee ties to get them started. After one year of being out in the California sun, the ties all got brittle and snapped off. I made a poor choice.I then decided to spend more and buy this one, and its held up well. Not only is the target a big / generous size, but its sturdy enough to handle my 80-90mph shots and hard passes with ease. This is the one to get, look no further!

Does not fit correctly on standard rebounder frame. Weak tension and no bounce back. Waste of money. Stick with STX.

My son asked me to buy him this to practice catching lacross ball. It was more than I wanted to spend but I relented. He uses it every day but it does not show any sign of wear. He put it together himself in less Tha. And hour and it is lightweight enough for him to mover it around my yard qhen he needs to! Very durable and well made

I got this in 2018 when my son first started lacrosse. It has been kept outside in all weather and has held up. Still use it regularly. It was one of the best purchases i made to get my son good at lacrosse.
