So far working great in the USB drives I made them into. I can say one drive did need sector repair for 7 sectors or so. Otherwise these ran really good. Even though they are brand new it does not hurt to run hdd scandisk checks for sector issues. 5 stars really because they are from ancient era of playstation drive kit. Things happen and really the issues were minor in the long run.

No issues. Came new unused with no prior partitions on device. Currently using it for fat ps3. Great upgrade for storage. Had no issue installing. The 80 gb that came out of my ps3 was also Toshiba brand so almost identical aside from storage capacity. Will purchase again.

This product does have alot of storage

Replacement unit I hope it last.

Seal was broken when it arrived and the hard drive looked in worse condition than the one it was replacing. I was able to install the OS for my PS4 and I downloaded a game. It took forever and the PS4 was sluggish. When it was done downloading I turned off the PS4 and went to bed. I turned on the PS4 the next day and it went straight to the "checking system storage" screen, just like it did when my old hard drive was dying. I got to the home screen and it froze for a few minutes and when I gained control none of the menus work. I booted it into Safe Mode it went to the "reinstall the system software" screen, like the hard drive was empty. I don't know if something else is wrong with my PS4, but I'm just going to assume I was sent a bad hard drive given the seal was broken and it was clearly used.

I had to test it before writing a review it’s been 7 months and still working even smoother than I thought, obviously you should go to PlayStation website on a computer or a laptop or even on an iPad use a usb drive to install the latest update then insert the usb and plug in the controller in your ps4 press and hold the start button on ps4 for 3-5 seconds until you hear a peep and then go to initiate ps4 (reinstall system software) option it’s a must step or won’t work, then press ok that’s it wait for the update to finish installing and you can use you ps4 normally.
