Excellent. His introduction and alternative translations are amazing. A very good selection from Tipitaka Theravada texts.

I purchased this as an ebook from the publisher. For those who have completed a course of grammar study of Pali, this is the perfect next step in being able to read texts in the original. The selections for reading are well chosen (I was very happy to find MN 10 as the culmination of the readings, since it happened to be the text I most wanted to read in the original), and the individual glossaries make the task considerably easier than if one were consulting a dictionary. A range of meanings is given for complex philosophical terms, so the reader gets a sense of the various shades of meaning, rather than the author simply supplying an overly simple definition. In my experience, this surpasses any other Pali reader of its kind. Let's hope the author continues to produce books of this quality and utility. Now if only there were an equivalent for Chinese and Tibetan Buddhist texts!

Great great book, highly recommend

This is book is intended for students of Pali, and as such it is not an appropriate purchase for those whose only interest is in reading the suttas in English. This point is not really clear in the product description, I feel.
