These will save your ski boots and make them safer
not only is walking in ski boots in a muddy parking lot a misery, but it can damage the bottom of your skiboots, such that they may not release from your bindings if the skid plate is really scratched up. This product makes it a pleasure to walk any distance in ski boots. They allow your boots to roll so your gate is much more natural and not labored. Plus they protect your boots from the mud and grime. They fit in your pocket to you can simply put them back on at the end of the day, for your walk back to the car. If you have to walk in a ski area parking lot with any regularity, these are a must have.

Save your boots and yourself.
These are literally a life saver, at least maybe a broken bone. They are easy to take on and off and make it comfortable to walk on asphalt and cement. What was really apparent was traction in slippery snow. My friend went down with a different brand on an area I had just walked easily over. He ordered a pair that night while nursing a bruised bottom.

Really a fine product!
The SkiTrax really do make walking much easier in ski boots! The cushion-feel and natural-rolling walk is apparent from your first time wearing them. They do make it a bit safer walking on ice. They fold up nice and come with a pouch to store them in your pocket or off season. We walk up the street for 5+ minutes to the slope and they make the walk soooo much easier! Why I only gave 4-stars: they are somewhat large and cumbersome in your pocket while skiing; if your pockets are small, you will have to put them into separate pockets. The sizing on the box/chart is a bit off and required me returning them to get it right. I wear a 10 1/2, while my wife wears a 9; both boots fit into a medium SkiTrax.

Yaktrax is the perfect way to protect costly ski boots
Well, I've only been skiing for 66 years (got a late start at 7), so I don't know everything ... yet! But one thing I do know is that these Yaktrax slip-on boot sole protectors are the best I've ever found for the job. Walking around on unprotected ski boot bottoms is a sure way to ruin a $600 pair of boots in short order. The plastic is pretty soft and wears, especially on hard surfaces like roads, walkways, sand and gravel. So if you love your boots, get a pair of these Yaktrax. Easy on; easy off. They are rugged, yet very easy to put on, especially good for old duffers like me who don't bend so easily after seven plus decades. To put 'em on, just drop left and right Yaktrax protectors on the ground and step boot toe in first, then set the heel firmly down. And walk away protected. They come off almost as easily. Just nudge the left heel piece downward with your right toe, then vise versa for the other boot. Make sure you get the right size Yaktrax for your ski boot. Do I love these Yaktrax? You bet I do. But I love my Lange Banshees even more and want to protect them. Ergo: Yaktrax. I'm all done yakking now.

Cheap insurance to protect expensive boots
The Yaktrax are so much better than the previous competing product I owned. Yaktrax are thick, cushioned, and solidly made. They won't break or tear as my last ones did. It makes walking in my ski boots much more comfortable and safe, by providing both traction and cushioning. My only criticism is that they are bulky and therefore difficult to fit into my ski jacket pocket. However, that is the price I have chosen to pay to protect my boots, safety, and comfort. I have had them for 2 years and they have shown no signs of weakening or tearing. I expect that they will last for several more.

Work great!
These work great. They are much more heavy duty than the ones I had many, many years ago, and provide the protection I want for my new boots. Walking around ski areas, you can't help but come across concrete surfaces covered in sand or gravel that will ruin the soles of your boots and diminish their safety effectiveness, so I'm glad to have these. If you are wondering what to do with them while skiing, I have a medium size fanny pack into which they fit ok. These come with a little carry sack which prevents any snow on them from melting all over the other stuff I keep in the pack. If you ski with a backpack, space won't be an issue for you. The sizing chart provided was useful. My boots were right at the upper end of the medium range for the Ski Trax. Since I have rather large feet (size 13-14) I was tempted to go with the large size. I'm glad I didn't, because the mediums fit perfectly and are still easy to get on and off while standing.

Worth every penny
I had purchased a set of boots that retailed for $600, and I knew that my other "casual" ski boots had been so chewed up from the stone parking lots and concrete that I needed something to protect my good ones from the same fate. Even if I was walking on a snow-covered lot, I could still feel stones grinding on the bottoms of the boots. I had seen others with these on, and wondered if they would be worth it. Be sure to read the mondo and mm size of your boots and compare against their chart for ordering the correct size. When I received them, they appeared to be quite rugged and made with durable rubber. They are a snug fit for my 28.5's, but that will help keep them on. What some other reviewers might not realize is that you need to have the rubber cup on each end of the Trax completely over the binding lug on the boot so they don't come off. That is the only difficult part of their use. These make walking in ski boots more comfortable, and almost provide a feeling like you're rolling your foot just as you would in a normal shoe. They absorb shock and provide traction on ice and terrain. When not in use, they fold in half and stow easily in cargo pockets and are lightweight. For the benefits they provide, I would have no qualms about buying these again.

Bad product
These sole covers are not a good product. Don't waste your money. They are not easy to put on your boots. You need to make absolutely sure the toe piece and the heel piece fit exactly over the toe and heel lugs on your boots which is not easy. Even after doing so, the tab on the heel part sticks out and can catch on things like when you are going down stairs and it can easily pull the covers right off the boots without you noticing. I lost one of the covers the second day I used them. The manufacturer, Implus, has very poor customer service and makes no effort to help you after purchasing this badly designed product.

excellent !!
confort de marche et surtout sécurité sur la neige et la glace assurée ! seul petit défaut : la solidité de la languette de talon.

Fantastic. love them. really protect your boot bottoms
love them. easy to snap on. save the bottom of your boots walking around. its expensive to replace your worn out boot bottom parts. sometimes you cant even get a replacement. these covers avoid all that and protect your boot souls. love them. highly recommend !

Fit nicely, and have a rounded front-back profile that makes walking easier
I've owned Snow Kat's in the distant past, which also worked nicely, but one nice feature of these is that they are wedged shapes, meaning your feet roll nicely when you walk. This is much more comfortable than the usual clomping on a sharp heel that impacts on your calves.

Become a Mountain Goat in Ski Boots!
Having skied for the last 27 years walking around in ski boots was always the place I thought was my biggest chance of slipping over and actually hurting myself. I bought these SkiTrax before a trip to Austria this year and was super impressed with them. They really do add the much needed grip ski boots lack and also add a cushioned feel when walking. I thought they may have a tendency to slip off when applied to wet boots but no hint of that at all. A great thing to have in your back pack and makes that precarious walk to the toilets at lunch (which is always down stairs) that much safer. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Yaktrax ski boot protectors
The fit well and sizing is correct. My boots have grip walk soles so they don’t sit completely flush but appear to be secure. Haven’t used them in the snow yet.
