Don't assume the muffle is the problem
Muffler seems to be OEM part, fit perfectly. But, it did not make the mower any quieter. Original muffler did not have a gasket, so I bought this hoping to quiet the engine. This did not help, either. Weeks after replacing the muffler the engine began surging. Internet research said to rebuild the carburetor. This did not help. Further investigation pointed to a sticky intake and/or exhaust valve. A few shots of carb cleaner and WD-40 stopped the surging (almost), and the engine is now quiet again.So, be sure you need a muffler before you buy one. If you do, this one is a good choice.

Awesome muffler for the pressure washer.Don’t forget a pair of bolts and a gasket!Use some kind of rust release or heat to keep from breaking bolts!
