Awesome little sucker :) Great value
To anyone who is skeptical a vacuuming robot this inexpensive can do the trick rest assured it is a powerhouse. This was a a bargain for how well it cleans. I just got it yesterday. I followed all the instructions carefully. Around the wheel there is a ring you need to extend as a guard. Then insert the brushes and fan them out (they are stiff at first) and let the vacuum rest on the fanned out brushes. Make sure the filter with the filter cup is in the unit. I plugged it in and charged it for 2 hours. When you use the vacuum make sure you set it down and the brushes are extended (I use my fingers to fan them out (no big deal) Then set it down, turn it on. Okay so it is not a Roomba. You cannot program it. It has no docking station. So what? I have 1600 square feet of new 18 x 18 floor tile and a hairy cat. This morning I set it down in the bedroom and closed the door (after 10 minutes of amusement watching the darn thing):) Anyway go buy this vacuum now if you've been thinking of something to keep the floor debris free between the "real" vacuming and cannot swallow the high cost of the other robot vacs. I did some research on the company and they are A-OK. So not to gross you out or think my house it filthy. It is NOT. So I was as surprised as you will be when you look at the photo of what was on the bedroom floor. It went under the bed, into the corners too. This is the contents of the cup from that room after running in there for about 45 minutes. I hope this review helped in your decision making.

Works surprisingly well, but won't last long.
EDIT: 14 July 2015:Rating reduced to 1 star. After 3 or so months of using this vacuum only 2 times per week, it died on me. The robot indicates a full charge, but when powered on, only makes a high-pitched ring (almost like the ringing of an old CRT television, or the ringing you sometimes hear in your ears).I tried everything to fix it. Reset the thing. New battery pack. Tried charging again. Made sure nothing was jammed in the motion or suction mechanisms. There's nothing physically broken, so who knows?I attempted to reach out to the manufacturer, and never heard back.Disappointing. If it had lasted, I would have bought one for every room in my house. But if I have to buy a new one for 4 rooms every three months, suddenly the cost is $800/year to clean the house. For that price, I'm going to just pick up a $400 Neato. It'll clean multiple rooms and has an actual warranty.Bummer. This could have been a good little vacuum for those who wanted convenience with a low price tag.**Original review, 2 weeks after purchase.****Rating: 4 stars**I'm actually pretty happy with this little thing. I have a cat and hard wood floors. Running this little guy keeps the cat hair "dust bunnies" in the bedroom at bay in between actual vacuumings. That said, I would hardly consider this a vacuum. Yes, there is suction, but it's weak and only enough to pick up larger particles brought in by the brushes. It also will not work on carpet. Hard flooring only. Also, the brushes need to be soaked in warm water for a few hours, otherwise they'll retain their tangled packaging shape and will be useless. So, not a vacuum. A sweeper with suction, dropping particles into an internal dust-pan, if you will. For the price, it's great. I'll be buying another for my living room. -1 star because it's mis-labeled (in my opinion) as a vacuum and not a sweeper.

Good machine for light jobs
Great robo-vac for the price. I purchased this vacuum and am quite happy with it. It's quite basic and will roll around the room at random but is quite efficient for the job I wanted it for. I charge it and let it loose every other day to pick up mainly pet hair and it performs well. It also picks up small grains of dirt, sand and some rice grains but not a complete spill of rice so that may be a bit too much for it to suck up. Regardless, I feel it works well and suits my main need with regard to the pet hair. Only thing that I see as a drawback is the battery charge is short-lived (maybe 45 minutes to an hour and I am really guessing here) and it can't return to a charging station as it's a cord you plug into the wall and then into the unit but hasn't doesn't bothered me. If you are looking for a basic robot vac for small routine jobs, and don't want to pay several hundreds for it. this one is a good choice.

SO FAR SO GOOD
Just got this. so far so good. I was surprised how good it is for the price. I have only used it once but will update my review as time goes on. THE ONLY reason i didn't give it four stars because this is a basic machine and can be programmed etc. ALSO if you are expecting to use this on carpet dont, The manual states THIS IS NOT TO BE USED ON CARPET.I ran this puppy at work for a bit on the concrete floor and it seemed to work fairly well. I love the brushes HOWEVER....TIP The brushes come in a tube and the bristles are bent straight up. all you have to do to remedy this is soak them in hot water for an hour or so and the bristles will spread out properly. if you dont do this they do not work well on the floor.I hope this little guy stands up to time because so far I am impressed, I named him Scooter. :)
