Ok, so this mat feels amazing under my feet. I suffer from severe chronic pain due to rheumatoid arthritis and major trauma from a helicopter crash. I was getting to a point where I was having a lot of difficulty standing for too long in the kitchen to cook or wash dishes and because of this, I was making less meals at home and my dishes would pile up for a few days until I felt well enough to stand long enough to do them. After I ordered this mat, I've been able to withstand the kitchen for longer periods of time and actually feel, not only comfort, but support under my feet while on the mat. I have had the mat for a year now and it is still in "like new" condition. It hasn't sunken in and flattened out at all, and there are no tears or damage to it whatsoever. With small children and dogs, and lots of foot traffic, that is a feat in itself.The design in the mat is elegant and beautiful and I love the gray color.My only issues with this mat are the small grooves in the top from the design traps a lot of crumbs and dirt making it difficult to sweep off or clean. It vacuums nicely and doesn't slide around at all, which brings me to my second issue. The mat can get a little sticky to the floor. If you don't pull it up and clean underneath it often, it could get stuck to the floor and be difficult to pull up. Also, it looked much larger in the photograph than it actually is so you should pay attention to the dimensions before purchasing.Other than those couple things, I have no other complaints and this mat has literally been a life saver on my extremely achy feet. If I could do my entire kitchen floor in this material, I would. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value. It's nice looking and comfy, and an excellent value. I bought mine "like new" through Amazon Warehouse at about 1/3 the current price. It was repackaged but the mat itself is pristine. If you can get that deal buy 10 of them because you'll never need to buy another comfort mat again. Just break out a new one of the old one wears out! As for the color I took off a star for the color accuracy on the pic. My monitor is a color corrected Mac so I was slightly disappointed when the brown was darker than in the pic. Those are the pitfalls of buying online, I guess. I think they lightened it a bit and upped the contrast so you could see the pattern better. If you want to try and approximate the actual color I went through my Pantone fan and the closest color I could come up with is Pantone 448C, which roughly equates to an RGB value of 75 69 44 (HTML 4B452C) or CMYK 30 35 62 79. It's very comfortable, and the size is perfect for in front of our sink. My only complaint is that it traps dirt very easily (from our shoes, dirt, stuff from outside, etc). So, being so dark, it looks dirty more easily. But really, that's fine. I would recommend this for a nice mat that is comfortable and doesn't slide. I've stood on it, at an angle with my backside resting against the counter, and this thing did not slide a bit. The pattern is actually nice, in my opinion.
