AMAZING
I was both surprised and impressed by this little remote. It works perfectly with my Frigidaire LRA087AT7 air conditioner. Super simple to program (I wrote the code on the back in case I ever need to reprogram it), I got it to sync up with my AC with the first code. The remote is the perfect size - no bigger than it needs to be, but not so small as to become difficult to manipulate or easily misplaced - it fits nicely in the palm of my hand. All of the functions seem to work, not just basics like on/off and fan speed, but also temperature control, mode, even sleep and timer - it's all functional. I will note that the "SLOW/MED/FAST" fan speed buttons don't work exactly as laid out on the remote - "SLOW" lowers the speed and "FAST" increases it, while "MED" (on my AC) actually switches the mode to "fan only"... just a little quirk; doesn't bother me. The battery is included, and it conveniently has a magnet on the back. Overall, you can't beat the price ($9.99) for a remote that is as good as, if not better than the one that came with the unit. Go ahead and buy it.

If your brand code doesn't work, try the other codes in the book for other brands!
Works as advertised. I have an older Friedrich wall unit in my house that's buttons hadn't worked for quite some time or you'd have to hit them over and over till they would work. I purchased this in hopes it would solve my problem as it had been stuck on the same temp and fan speed for awhile. After receiving the remote and reading the manual I tried all the codes that they had listed for Friedrich. None of them worked. Ok, so I know some people may have just given up there and returned the remote and written a 1 star review but I decided to try the other codes in the manual. I started at A and finally down at letter C at some brand I had never heard before I had changed the temperature with the remote! Was it annoying I had to go through the codes to find the right one, sure, but does the remote work well and save me a headache of an AC stuck on the same temp and fan speed, yes. So if the codes you have for your brand aren't working, try other codes! I hope this helps someone who has the same problem as me.

Does not work for GE AGR05LJG1 window air conditioner.
Misleading label + description: Does not work for GE AGR05LJG1 window air conditioner.

Works for my LG window a/c
Only function that doesn't work perfectly for my ac are the different speed buttons. It doesn't matter which one you press, it cycles the fan speed from lo, med, & high. But that may be because the unit itself doesn't have separate buttons for the speeds.Breeze to program too! Definitely recommend for anyone that has misplaced their original remote.

$7 remote works for old Frigidaire window unit!
Fantastic deal for nice remote with magnetic back. Highly recommend! Within minutes of opening the package I had the remote programmed for Frigidaire: Hold the SETUP button at top right until the red light stays steady, enter the appropriate 4 digit code for your model (in my case 1654), the red light goes out and you're ready to rumble. There is a leaflet in the packaging that has the codes for the various brands - for Frigidaire there was the one that I used, and an alternate 1688. There is also a method for having the remote search for the correct code but I didn't have to use that. A good idea shared in another review suggested writing the code on the back of the remote with a Sharpie, so you can ditch the packaging.Although the remote comes with the required 2 CR2032 coin batteries, these must have been old/dying as the remote would not hold the programming and needed to be redone every day. I changed the batteries, problem solved. If you don't have these batteries on hand, order a pair for less than $3 here on Amazon or pick up at your local hardware or Wal**** store.

Works wonderfully with my Frigidaire window AC.
Thank you to everyone that reviewed this product to date, it helped me decide in this remote as the best bet for my Frigidaire window AC. Also, it helped me worked through a couple of quirks that it has.As a thank you I want to include what I figured out by playing with my remote in case it’s helpful to anyone else.I just have begun to use this so this is based on a review of it out of the box. If any flaws show up over time, I will update my review. You can follow that button explanation looking at included photo of that remote. To program you hit the set up button and wait until it’s solid red then let go. Then you enter the appropriate code. For me the first Frigidaire code (1654) worked perfectly. It immediately turned the unit on and off. I can adjust the temperature setting using the arrow up and down buttons.I already knew that the medium fan button was a problem. The way around it is to consider the slow and high buttons and arrow down and arrow up buttons for the fan setting. So the slow will take the strength of air down (from high to medium to low) and high takes it back up (low to medium to high).Think of the ‘mode’ button as the ‘cool’ button. It takes you to cool setting on the AC.For fan you hit the fan button. With fan you cycle through speeds, as mentioned above, using slow and fast buttons. For ECON you hit the ‘saver’ button. For auto you hit the ‘auto’ button. If you hit the auto button again it will take you to the lowest setting on the fan, hit it again and it goes back to auto. For timer you hit the timer button and then hit the temp/time up or down button to change the time. Hit ‘cancel’ to get out of this mode. Sleep setting options is the ‘sleep button.Directions are clear and straightforward. There are some consistent variants to the functioning of the remote that it would be good if Anycommand would change the directions slightly. But, in truth, I’m thrilled to have a functioning remote at this price! At under $10, it’s a bargain and so far well worth the price.Hope this was helpful! Thanks again to allwho helped me with their info. :)

Universal remote
It works but it takes a lot to marry it to the a/c. Then, it didn’t work and I had to sync it again. It could be better.
