is it System Powered ???

Yes. But, It has batteries to light up the LED screen. Have had the thermostat for six months and works great. We have a gas furnace and air conditioning.

What are the dimensions?

My unit is mounted on wall, i cannot figure out how/where batteries are. Does unit come apart?

Yes. The unit consists of two hafts. The inner haft is mounted to a wall with two self tapping screws that either goes into a two by four or mollies that are inserted into sheet rock. The outer half contains two batteries. The two hafts are held together by slots and tabs.. Some models also have a small screw on the bottom of the unit. Loosen the small screw. (If applicable) Gently lift the bottom or top of the outside half (depending on your model) away from the inner half. You may need to use a small screw driver to gently separate the two hafts. Actual measurements? The picture shows 4.9” height, but no width. The product info says 5.7”. Anyone know the actual height and width?
