Comfort is the biggest feature
I am in my second season of Coues Whitetail hunting (plus one cow elk hunt) and this is definitely a comfortable pack! The adjustments on the shoulder straps took some getting used to after I thought the pack might be a bit short in the torso at my slightly above average height of 6 feet. The waist belt is nicely padded, but not too much. The lightweight frame with mesh allows the pack to be rigid yet not cumbersome, and having the ventilation around the back keeps me from overheating. The compression straps on the sides and on the back allow you to strap on items like shooting sticks, tripods, spotting scope cases, etc. I have my shooting sticks and a foam pad strapped to mine without any issues. I like the variety of smaller dividers in the outer pouch. I did widen the opening for the hydration system to fit my Camelbak piece as I couldn't fit it through without a lot of effort, so I just snipped the fabric to make it easier and save myself a little frustration. My one complaint, and the reason for only 4 stars is the waist pouches on the belt. As one reviewer mentioned, it is really hard to sip and unzip these pouches with one hand based on how they are attached. The other problem is that they stick out a little too much which interferes with any arm swing when walking. This isn't an issue when I am hunting, but when I am rucking or doing a fast hike for a workout in the offseason, these pouches are annoying. I considered actually cutting them off, but this can't be done based on how the pouches are integrated into the belt system. I would rather just see a plain waist belt of about 1.5 inches wide so the user could just buy various pouches to attach for a rangefinder (mine barely fits), radios, GPS, etc. The location of the pouches also forces me to have my pistol further back than I can easily access, which wouldn't be an issue if there weren't pouches. I may actually bring my pack in to a leather worker in my town to see if he can modify it with quality straps versus leather.Overall, this really is a nice pack, though. The construction seems good and I look forward to many years of good hunts and hiking.2021 update: I did end up modifying the pack in two ways. The opening in the top of the pack for the hydration bladder wasn't big enough so I had to snip it with EMT shears to make it slightly bigger to make it easier to pull the mouthpiece through when I remove my hydration bladder for cleaning. For the second modification, I did cut the pouches off the waist belt and had the local shoe/leather place sew up the straps. I like it much better for this. After five years of regular use, I still very much like the fit/comfort of this pack, but I find that it is "creaky" which isn't good for hunting. The pack is really holding up well and I am glad I purchased it and probably won't replace it anytime soon, it is definitely the best back I've owned. I also like the way my rifle sling rides on top of the pack, I've had problems with most of my previous packs but not this one, both for carrying and shooting.

The best hunting backpack.
It is so comfortable. Even with heavy loads. The best backpack for the money.

Great pack for the money
This is a great pack for a day pack out west for mule deer hunts with alot of hiking and its great for the deer woods to take to the stand . You can carry and attach you bow to the bag and is big enough to hold alot of gear. The only thing i would have like to see is a couple or a least one smaller pocket.

Nice pack
I love this pack but it seems a bit heavy. I love the compartments and the dividers within them. Itβs great for organizing gear. The riffle/ bow carrying strap is nice for the long walk into the woods in the dark to be hands free. Itβs comfortable to wear and has all the space I need.

Seams came apart after a handful of uses
I bought this back in 2018, so it's been in use a number of years for archery, but I very rarely use it. I've probably used it 10-20 times. Unfortunately I'm at a spot where I've wanted to start using it again, but the seam stitching in the bottom corner has come apart. Nothing is ripped, just poor execution on the stitching. Huge bummer cus overall I really like it, but now things fall out.

Fit Matters
I was finally able to really use this pack yesterday on a full day hunt. As others mentioned; this is impossible to get to fit properly. I have wider shoulders, so that may be part of the issue for me. I wear an XL size shirt for reference sake. The straps seem to be too close together at the top for my neck and shoulders to feel comfortable. It feels like it is pinching your neck the entire time, which after several hours gave me a headache. I also only had some field dressing tools and a hydro pack inside, so it was still pretty empty. The waist strap is pretty wide and the pockets are in a weird location. They are not adjustable or removable, which leave you with the option of cutting them off if you still want to use the waist strap. The space inside is limited because of the curved frame for the back breathability (good in concept, but poor feature). As a result, the pack stands off your back quite a bit. I had issues with it snagging on trees and bushes when stalking in areas of western WA where only deer trails exist. Overall, I wish I would have returned the pack when I first bought it. I think there are plenty out there that would work better in many ways over this one. I will say that the quality of construction is good though. It is built very well and seems quite durable.

Just what I needed for long hog hunts!
This is a fantastically built pack! I bought it for stalking wild hogs in South Ga swamps. I needed a good and capable pack rather than the fanny pack / daypack combo I have been using. This one is built to last and has all kinds of incredible features to make that walk easier. The rain fly is easily tucked away and seems rugged enough. The rifle / bow carrier really frees up the hands. There is plenty of room for all my gear and first aid kit etc. (Since I get so deep in some pretty inaccessible woods, I always take emergency gear in case I have to spend the night...including a PLB). I really love the padded waist belt and pockets. The only reason I rate it four stars instead of five is that it is a little heavier than I had thought and also that I had hoped it would be made in USA for the amount I spent on it.Oh well! This is STILL a great product!

Functional hunting pack with good featuers
I used this pack for most of the 2018 deer season in Wisconsin. What I like about the pack most is on the outside of the pack. The rifle / bow holder worked well for both a scoped rifle and modern compound bow. I didn't see any give or problems with the stitching that would indicated that it was struggling with the weight. Also, the orange pull-out cover fit nicely and gave me the necessary color for carrying this pack during gun seasons. The straps fit securely and with the waist straps, weight is distributed well enough to carry for over a mile. The outer material is soft and quiet, so I never ran into any noise issues.Inside is your standard 2-section pack. It's nothing spectacular, but works to carry the extra "essentials" you may need. The inside looks and feels a bit cheaper than the outside, but this isn't a $300 pack.

Nice bag, lacks some organization and is heavy
Nice material and appears well built. I don't like the waist pockets, they're too far back and the zipper opens when you're walking. Almost lost my rangefinder once that way, guess its just snacks going in there now. The main compartment has a lot of space taken up by the metal support braces in the back, like at least 30% if not more space would be added if they weren't arc'd so much. Makes it kind of tough to put my hydration bladder in there. It does definitely allow air flow, in a -20c day when I was out hunting, I had frost on the inside of the back of my outer shell coat, so theres no heat buildup there! This frame also makes the bag quite heavy while empty which is a negative. There could be more small compartments in the big compartments, alot of stuff just co-mingles in the bag which means you're doing alot of rooting through everything when you need to find something. Thats not always opportune when you're out hunting. Its a good bag, and was much cheaper than any of the comparables, and its better than the bag I was using so I'm happy overall, just could have a few improvements!

Not bad for the price
I am writing this review after my first 5 day hunting trip with this backpack. First thing I noticed was that 1 of the small locking clip ( male end ) would not lock into place. All other locking clips locked in fine. Kind of baffling to me because you would think that the plastic mold that they used to make all the clips would be 100% identical. Not in this case, I had to take a file and shave off just a hair so that the male end clip would go in far enough to hear it click and lock.Second, the 2 small pockets on the waist belt (1 on each side ) for GPS, rifle clip etc. are sewn into the belt and are non adjustable. I found that it was hard to look down and even see the pockets because they are so far back, let alone trying to open and close the zipper without taking the pack off.But overall I am happy with this haunting pack. And good price point!

Great Buy, not alot of space
This pack is a great buy for the price. I've been using this for 3 seasons now and it still looks brand new. I can easily carry this for hours with no aches or discomfort. The only downside is that there is very limited space in the main part of the backpack. The back part is hard and molded into a curve, which takes away alot of space inside. As I cannot really pack anything into the main part, I give this product 4 stars.

Pretty good, would recommend for any short hunting trips!
This is great for small trips, it doesn't have the maximum ammount of pockets for the size and should have the hip pockets more toward the front/buckle but overall it is pretty good, I used it all season and it worked great! Good as a rest too when your sitting for a long time in the field! It is very waterproof too, I had it out in very heavy rain on the island and nothing inside got wet I only used the pack poncho once all trip!

Good
Not really a bush hunting bag more for taking from camp to the stand or blind not for tracking animals for days
