Best brand and quality
Whole grain varieties have gone up in price - doubled - over the years but this is the best brand and quality I've used over the years. Rice holds its shape and doesn't fall apart, becoming mush like other brands. It has a nice whole grain aroma, not musty old moldy like others. This is my go to when it comes to red rice, only wish it wasn't so expensive.

Disappointed. Majorly. Flavorless.
Beautiful rice. Expensive, but I “heard” red rice was very good. This was just, flavorless. I think I’ll try to use it up in dishes that add other flavorful ingredients that the rice will absorb. It is pretty, so at least I can use it for color, but that wasn’t why I bought it. Sad.I don’t know why this rice is so .. bland? Old maybe? Or stored in an environment that leached out all the red rice yumminess? Hot warehouse?Damn. I was looking forward to eating the stuff. And it’s pretty.
