Awesome Bargain for the Price
I am a self taught, intermediate guitar player. I started with the Yamaha F335 (http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-F335-Acoustic-Guitar-Natural/dp/B003OFQBKQ/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1454703373&sr=8-13&keywords=yamaha+guitar) and grew out of it in 2 years and wanted something better. Saw this one in guitar center and fell in love with it. Was undecided and left Guitar Center to come back with the wife. Then could not find the time to go back to Guitar Center. So, I just ordered it over Amazon (I also had some store credits in Amazon which I could use). The guitar came in perfect condition and guess what -- It was tuned. From the first strum I fell in love with it and would say that for the prize this is an awesome bargain. You can visit my youtube channel to see some of my recordings[...]

extremely nice for the price
This is a solid mahogany top guitar. I was thinking about buying a more expensive acoustic, but I didn't see the point after comparing this to some that were $900-$1000. $1000+ and there were some that I'd say objectively sounded better by a small margin. The sound has as much bass as most dreads due, I'm guessing b/c of the type of wood. I'd say compared to the average dreadnought, this guy has a bit of low mid eq'd out more than lows. The finish is very matte, and appears thin, and as I'm more of an old timey classical guitar guy, is good for tone imo. Looks like stained wood more than finish, but it is fairly durable nonetheless. I didn't like where the strap button was and moved it so I figured I'd check the finish out with a knife before I drilled. I also don't like pick guards on an acoustic so I simply pulled it off, (yes I'm that guy) it was glued on pretty well, I had my mate hold the fracker down, but none of the finish came off. Electronics are fine, nothing remarkable. Tuners have not been an issue. Intonation was perfect. I lowered the action a bit and no buzzing.

Pleasantly Suprised
Most guitars in this price range do not come with a Bone saddle and nut. This one does and I like the sound and the size. This is as good as any $1200 guitar. The XLR output is handy at church with the PA system. Nice short and wide neck. Also stays in tune very well. it also looks better than the pictures, really a nice looking guitar. I would say if you buy it you will not be sorry.
