Very Comfortable
This was the third chin strap I have bought, and the only one I will use! It’s very comfortable and the Velcro straps are strong. There is no plastic buckel or strap holder to dig into your scalp . I recommend this strap. It works well with my Cpap headgear as well.

Great
I bought this because I breathe with my mouth. It works great for gently keeping my mouth closed. I have not used it instead of my CPAP yet.

Tight on larger head.
The chin straps works good but I have a larger size head and it fits very tight. Im hopefull that it will stretch as I use it and make it more comfortable.

Didn't work for me
I use a CPAP and my mouth tends to open while sleeping which messes with the mask seal. I've tried several different chinstraps and they all either break, stretch out fast, or are uncomfortable. So maybe I'm just one of those people that are hard to please. That said, this strap is one of the worst I've tried.First of all, it is too small. I have to loosen the velcro as much as possible just to get it on my head. If I try to adjust the velcro and *then* put it on, I can hear the material being stressed like when you stretch cloth too far and can hear/feel individual threads snapping. Then, since I loosened it, much of the velcro's rough side is exposed and touches my head causing irritation and discomfort. I'm bald so the exposed rough velcro feels like there is a tiny bed of nails attached to my head. And the velcro is a pretty aggressive size - not that tiny kind that can stick to regular cloth like CPAP mask headgear - but the kind that has separate hook and loop sides. Not exactly conducive to a restful sleep, especially if I turn so that the rough velcro is between my head and the pillow. So, I figured I'd flip the strap inside out so that the rough velcro faces out. That made the strap a little more comfortable, but even the back of the strap material is too rough. It might be tolerable if I attach some kind of padding, but that's more work than I want to do modifying something that is brand new. Also, since the velcro is now facing out, it tends to attach itself to the headgear of my CPAP mask straps making it a pain to take the mask on and off.

Did not prevent snoring but..
I was hopeful with this solution as it sounded like it would actually work. I snore because my jaw drops and my tongue blocks my airways. Putting on the strap itself was easy and actually felt natural and comfortable. I was able to sleep with it on with no problems; however, it didn't stop the snoring at all. While the strip keeps your lips due to the pressure it exerts on your chin, its not firm enough to keep your jaw in place. So my jaw still drops enough to allow my tongue to block my airways. As usual my snoring would wake my wife so she would then record to show me it was not working. The reason for two stars is because, for me, it did not stop my snoring; however, it does prevent cotton mouth in the morning since it prevents my mouth from fully opening while i snore and drying out.

Chin strap
I like the strap, but the seam on the sides left marks on my face.

Useful for helping to keep mouth shut
I use this with my CPAP. With the CPAP on, I had a habit of not keeping my mouth sealed. I makes quite the racket to hear the wind coming from the CPAP go rushing out the mouth. Anyway, this product helps me keep that from happening. The Velcro hooks on the straps are pretty aggressive and you definitely want them facing out. Fortunately, that is the way it is supposed to be. Let's just say that I didn't do it that way by accident and that is how I found that out.
