Boston Harbor R0101-3L 3-Light Flush Mount fixture:This fixture mostly works as advertised, with a couple of installation caveats.The fixture I received had three sets (of black and white colored) wires to provide power to the three light heads. These wires were joined together and connected to a single pair of wires to be attached to house power. The problem is that there was absolutely no slack in the three sets of wires, and the wire joins were at the fixture center, blocking the fixture mounting hole. Before installing the fixture, I broke those joins and then used some spare twist-on wire connectors to reconnect the joins slightly off-center from the mounting hole.The fixture came with fiberglass insulation. Unfortunately, that insulation was not well anchored and tended to shift around when I tried to place the fixture hole over the (center) mounting bolt. When the fixture is almost mounted, the only way you can see the location of that mounting bolt is to use a flashlight to look up through the hole and hope the insulation hasn't slipped and is covering the view of the bolt.The center mounting bolt adjusts up or down, but it is not easy to tell the length of bolt needed to tightly mount the fixture, and the mounting cap-nut only allows for about 1/8" tolerance. Best to adjust the mounting bolt a little long and have some washers on hand for fine adjustment, or you will be mounting and unmounting the fixture a bunch of times while you try to adjust for exact height.Once the painful installation was complete, the light looked and performed beautifully. It was a little dimmer than a similar light I purchased at a local store that didn't have this fixture's black plastic baffle/rims, but these plastic pieces are removable if you prefer lighting quantity over style. In conclusion, if I hadn't had to install this fixture myself I would have rated it 5/5. A perfect replacement for the old fluorescent light fixtures in my garage. I used CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lamps), instead of incandescent because they run so cool, that I don't have to sorry about heating up the wiring in the fixtures, which can cause the insulation to become brittle.Interesting side note about CFL lights - If left on 24/7, they last for years, instead of months. Apparently, repeatedly turning them on and off shortens their life considerably, and because they only draw 13 Watts each, leaving them on has little effect on my electric bill.

I needed 5 light fixtures with adjustable lights for an art studio with a high 10 ft. ceiling. These fit the bill for adequate lighting and aiming the light/s to display art. Easy to install, no broken parts or flaws in any of them when the package arrived and was opened.

I have been looking for something other than large ceiling units with four fluorescent bulbs in each unit. I have had five of these in my garage/shop area for years and when one spends all day in there it can get expensive. These fixtures using either LED or CFL bulbs ( the daylight type) light the entire area for a lot less money. All of us know that energy costs are not going down so these units work great at saving some cash.

We needed it to light art in a hallway. Does just what we wanted because we can aim each light right where we need it. Packaged very well to keep it from getting scratched during shipping. Installation was easy.

The description on this makes it appear it has a 15" base plate, which is not the case. I cannot use the light and have made three attempts to get an RMA from the company to no avail. I included the order # and all personal info in my first email, only to be told they had no such email or order in their system and the order # wasn't in the subject line..........Second email I put the order# in the subject line. No response at all. I guess I have a paperweight.

Love the lights, have them in my pantry
