BUT i gotta say its funny as S#%t
Uniique in that its R Rated content (NR on box) but about (supposedly) PG teens - i cant see a parent "wanting" their under 16 teen to watch , BUT i gotta say its funny as S#%t ! Besides, i am sure any 16 YO knows all this anyway, you just want to think they dont !! Very good, very funny. I live in USA but its like American Pie 1-2 in style and funnier in ways. Saw it on NFlix.Wish there was like 8 Seasons, but like "That 70s Show" its hard to do High School past 3-4 years. Very good for TV. If youve ever blown a date or totally made a fool out of yourself, these guys make you feel superior !VERY FUNNY !!!!Decode:-"Bollucks=male genital things"-"Fit"=Hot Girl-"Johnny"=Condom-"Bent"=Gay for other decodes Google "London slang words"(even tho its outside London).

DVD Regional Code Restricted
I love this show but the DVDs are the wrong regional code and wont play on my devices. I checked to make sure that wasnt an issue before buying. It says it no where in the description. I have several other DVDs that are out of the UK that I have no problem with. Just sad that I cant enjoy this show and there is no where else to puchase it.

Outstanding
Whether you are happy, sad, bored, tired - this show is a go to. For a show which is now quite old, this is still very funny and despite countless times of quoting scenes with my friends, it never gets old. This is simply one of the best shows of recent times.

The Inbetweeners - Ensure that you have a defibrillator on standby!
There was one point in Series 3 of the Inbetweeners during the tail end of the fashion show organised by Carly D'Amato (Emily Head) the love of Simon's life when the "Speedo incident" occurred. Without giving away the plot his desperate attempt not to get over excited sexually backfires with consequences which led to possibly the Best TV comedy moment of 2010 or any other year for that matter. I frankly admit that I had such a fit of hysterical laughter that I nearly called NHS direct (although its since been cut!) because it was so bloody gut wrenchingly funny that you literally lost control of yourself. Splendidly there in in this truly wonderful series so many moments of comedy gold that were entered it in the Olympic games it would have more medals than Michael Phelps. Think the trip to Thorpe Park and the sweet revenge of the Down Syndrome kids, think Jay's father and "that dump" in the caravan, the vomit scene involving Simon and Carly's little brother, equally the "pavement Picasso" based scene in last episode of Series 3 "The camping trip", or Will's "accident during an examination". Look let us stop there since the list of comedy highs is literally never-ending and this series about a group of teenage friends struggling through sixth form at school, not quite the worst nerds but as far removed from the coolest kids in the school as it is humanly possible to be, has reached a level of sublime comedy that is up there as a brilliant cross between Peep Show and the Young Ones. Similarly it can rightly look down on the far more inferior product that is Skins. The characters are pitched perfectly. Will (Simon Bird) the clever ex public school boy with the very attractive MILF parent, Polly McKenzie who has dumped him (briefcase and all) in in Rudge Comprehensive after her divorce is key to proceeding. He has all the cultural chic and morals of a grumpy old Lib Dem councillor and somehow contrives "not to have sex" with the school's most attractive and promiscuous girl, Charlotte Hinchcliffe. Will is fabulous as a sort of teenage Woody Allen style main protagonist whose various tantrums are the stuff of legend not least his failure to get served as an under-age drinker in a pub. He befriends a gang of erstwhile peers namely Simon (Joe Thomas), Jay (James Buckley) and Neil (Blake Harrison). Jay's is a product of far to vivid an imagination. Think about his outrageous boastfulness on non existent sexual conquests, his wholly naff advice arising from his "vast experience" of girls and his awful statements such as "enter the minge mobile" or "she once munched off the whole rugby team". He takes this level of sheer filth almost to an art form. Yet his true highlight is the episode on "football fwends" which shows him in all his horrible glory. His gullible and thick counterpart Neil is fascinating not least since despite his lack of anything reassembling an IQ he is the one member of the crew who probably has the best track record with girls (to be fair there is absolutely no competition to speak of). The cruel jokes around his "camp" dad are painfully cutting and his swimming trunks in the Thorpe Park episode will give you nightmares. Simon alternatively sometimes gives the suggestion of some level of cool but the series scripts reserve for him the most awkward, embarrassing, humiliating and downright excruciating TV moments this side of David Brent, actor Joe Thomas brilliantly plays this role. .Overall do not be fooled in any sense into thinking that this is a teenage comedy. Like all great comedic products it is based on building growing empathy with the characters and the awful recognition that on occasions "we have all been there" in situations so awfully cringeworthy that they make your toes curl. Responsible parents will hate it, some educationalists will berate it, certain moralists will complain about declining standards and others will speak of wilful vulgarity, juvenile puerile humour and boorishness. Good advice at this point would be to ignore them all if you are not easily offended and badly in need of an electric shock injection of outright mirth (alternatively if you don't like bad language, flagrant sexual innuendo and the "hobbies" of teenage boys STAY WELL CLEAR; you have been warned). On balance while the plot of the Inbetweeners requires you to firmly believe that this gang of friends are firmly stuck in lower quartile of the school "cool" league table, in terms of hysterical comedy moments they are in a class of their own.

One of the best recent comedies!
OK, so I bought this because it was on offer and my friends had been berating me for not seeing this - figuring I could easily pass it on to someone if I didn't like it. To be honest I thought it might be a little 'young' for me.Well, I can tell you it will not be going anywhere - I have watched the lot, apart from the extras, and I LOVE it! Yes it is puerile, as you would expect being the lives of four schoolboys, yes it is gross at times but they are so hilariously funny, and you really grow to love the four boys, despite all their obvious faults! Their relationships with one another grow over the three series and all their stomach-achingly funny exploits. Sometimes you cringe with them, sometimes your jaw drops at their ineptitude; but you are always rooting for them. Once their parents are introduced to things more, you see why each one is like he is. Their poor efforts to get girlfriends are so cringeworthy, yet you still hope they do!I am gutted that I have watched them all now, cannot wait for a new series and shall be watching it all again. Excellent acting from everyone involved. If you have a sense of humour that allows you to laugh at the gross things that happen to people, you will just love this. If you are somewhat strait laced I would try something 'nicer' like My Family.

Just watch it!
Happy? Watch the inbetweeners!Sad? Watch the inbetweeners!Bored? Watch the inbetweeners!Have watched countless times, never get tired of these! Almost 10 years old now (where did that go?!) And the humour/acting/script are still as fresh as a daisy.Recommended to anyone who was ever a teenager! (But particularly those who had to endure those teenage years in a state comp!)Timeless comedy at its best!Oh, and the soundtrack is awesome :)

Crude but charming
One of the best sitcoms on British telly in years, 'The Inbetweeners' is triumph of taut writing, memorable characters and recognisable sixth form dilemmas. The chemistry between the mis-matched Will, Simon, Jay and Neil is a joy: they may be teenage stereotypes but they're well-observed and endearing ones. The main players are backed up by an excellent supporting cast including emotionally-abusive parents, a cynical teacher, the unattainable popular girl and the classic school bully.'The Inbetweeners' crams lots of laughs into its sharp 25-minute storylines, and brings back memories for anyone who can recall their embarrassing first attempts to chat up girls, learn to drive, or get served in a pub. Although the jokes are frequently crude, and the level of humiliation meted out to the boys is often over-the-top, there's also a real honesty and charm about the series. It's a pretty accurate picture of immature sixth formers - you probably knew kids like this in school, or were one of them yourself - and its depiction of the ordinary, awkward, suburban adolescent experience (played for comic effect) is a welcome antidote to the glamorous fantasy world of 'Skins'.
