Hand Embroidered Table Placemat Set, Set of 5 (Coffee Brown)

The good: beautiful design and perfect size for my need to use as a table top protector. The coffee color, when held in the light also has a purplish hue.The bad: it can be seen in the photo. The gold border will not lay flat. There are slight ripples in the sewing. The back is entirely flat and well pressed. The beads are hand sewn. All of those stitches were done after the pressing so that they all show.This is a dry clean item so be careful if using with a dinner service.

We upgraded our bedroom furniture and wanted to have mats on our night stands and media chest. My first searches came up with woven mats that were meant for dinning table placements. I was looking for mats made of quality fabric, and have decorative trim that would match our decor. At first the seller didn't ship to my location but after making a plea to them, I was grateful when they promptly made an exemption.The craftsmanship of the mats are of high quality, The base and border fabric are smooth indicating they are made with a high thread count weave. The gold border are sewn at every edge. The intricate design in the center was done nicely the symmetry is almost perfect. I liked the gold thread that runs throughout along with the gold beads, just shows level of hand work that went into each mat. Since the mats have intricate designs and made of quality fabric they require careful cleaning that is outlined in their product care pamphlet.The same attention to details they give in making their products are also practiced with fulfilling a customer's order. My order arrived in an Amazon.com shipping box, but when I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. My order came in a company gift box, wrapped in colored tissue liner, came with instructions on how to care for the mats, and a personal Thank You card which I thought was nice. It shows the seller values their customers. I will definitely buy from Banarsi Designs again, and recommend them to everyone!

Okay these I bought just before the Holidays, and they are quality all the way. Exquisite work beading and sewing, and material! I still have them out, because the design is perfect for anywhere anytime, they are a gorgeous silky red color, and stunning on my glass table in front of the sofa or anywhere, and I definitely recommend these for any where you want a table mat/runner to add class and sparkle.

I love these placemats . When I received them I got a little hand written note from the Seller with some very special words . I made me felt like I didn't just buy a product but was given something that had a lot of love and hard work put into it .

Gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful on my dining room table. I love the beadwork and the fine gold threads.. These look very high end, and add a very elegant touch. :)
