I have had an excellent experience with this copper water bottle. Since I started using it, the water tastes fresher and more pleasant. Fantastic hydrating water bottle. I now drink more water than I usually do. Which for me means I’m hydrating better & that’s great news. Plus the water taste better to me from the copper bottle. It feels sturdy & the dark color has a relaxed, chill & appealing tone. Love that it’s leak proof with a secure & sanitary screw on top & made in such a size that fits nicely in a water bottle pocket of my backpack or inside the backpack. So it travels well. This is a wonderful product arrived quickly, was well packaged that is a great value for the money. I highly recommend & would buy again! Thank you!

Just the right copper water bottle I have been looking for

First off this is a beautiful pure copper bottle of excellent quality. Secondly, there is a very important PSA I need to make. PLEASE do not drink anything acidic out of a pure copper vessel, and clean it with lemon juice as instructed BEFORE using and again on occasion to prevent acute copper poisoning. I didn't know better and made some strong lemon water in it and drank it, then made another bottle full of strong lemon water before bed. I drank it in the morning and began vomiting and dry heaving 15 min later. The vomiting didn't stop for over an hour with stomach bile and a little blood. I unknowingly gave myself copper toxicity. Now that I know, I have taken zinc to help recover from the toxicity and I will never store anything acidic in copper for consumption and do so for cleaning purposes periodically to avoid this again. I love the copper bottle as it keeps the water clean and fresh, unlike other bottles where bacteria builds up. Just please be careful and drink only plain water and nothing that is at all acidic.

I recently purchased the Otiem 34oz Pure Copper Bottle, and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. The bottle is advertised as being made of pure copper, which was a significant selling point for me. However, after using it for a short period, I noticed a rust-colored substance peeling off from the inside of the bottle. This is quite concerning, as it raises doubts about the purity and quality of the material used. Copper is known for its durability and health benefits, but the peeling issue suggests that the bottle might not be made of pure copper as claimed. The inside of the bottle deteriorating so quickly is unacceptable, especially for a product marketed as high-quality pure copper. Visually, the bottle does not look like pure copper either. The exterior finish seems different from the authentic copper items I own. This discrepancy between the product's claims and its actual quality is disappointing. Overall, I cannot recommend the Otiem 34oz Pure Copper Bottle based on my experience. If you are looking for a genuine pure copper bottle, you might want to consider other options that have better reviews and a proven track record of quality.

I've been wanting a pure copper water bottle for some time now, I've spent loads of time online researching which one to purchase (considering the cost of one, I didn't want to be disappointed), reading thru countless reviews. I settled on getting this one because of the purity of the copper, the smooth design and the majority of positive reviews from other customers. I will say that one of the more negative reviews was submitted by someone who had said their wife had put grape juice in it and threw up violently for three days afterwards. Whaaat?!? Upon reading the DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH THIS BOTTLE, it specifically states to NOT pour acidic liquids into it (lemons, grapes, grapefruit, etc) that by doing that will bring about undesirable results ("Tell me you didn't thoroughly read the instructions without actually telling me you didn't thoroughly read the instructions.") Sure, it smells a little weird at first, but those instructions TELL YOU how to eliminate the odor (washing thoroughly with dish soap, rinsing well afterwards and allowing it to air dry for eight hours. Leaving it in the sun for 3 hours or more helps tremendously with that, too. That's also in the detailed instructions). I use Multipure filtered water for drinking, this pure copper bottle is a great pairing with that purified water. It is also superior to the stainless steel one I've been using the past 10 years. In fact, the stainless one ended up with a metallic odor I couldn't get rid of, ever. No matter what I did to it. I HIGHLY recommend this bottle to anyone who is conscious of consuming better H2O. All that and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I like how it comes in a type of gift box, too. Perfect gift for that health conscious someone in your life. Well-worth the money spent. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I love this bottle. I believe I'm noticing the results from drinking from this bottle. Mostly in the potty habits but I'm thankful for that. I also enjoy the taste a copper vessel provides. It's plenty big enough for your daily needs. These cleaning process is a little more than normal cups or bottle but nothing major. What I do is cut a wedge of lemon and sprinkle sea salt on it then toss it in the empty bottle and shake it. Vigorously! Then rinse it out and wash with a bottle brush and a tiny drop of dawn. Then rinse. I only wash it every other day. May sound gross but it's only me drinking out of it and only water is ever put in it. It's stays pretty cold for a while. You may see some oxidation but nothing to worry about. If you aren't certain of the benefits do some research. This is legit copper and not any fake material. You'll be happy if you decide to go with this bottle. It's decently priced in my opinion as well. As for the durability, it's pretty strong as I've dropped it twice on accident. No dents. Still just as it was brand new. You may see finger prints but nothing that can't be wiped off easily.

Everyone is always giving me S for being too picky about my water bottles. I have standards, what can I say. I wasn’t seeking out a copper one specifically but boy am I glad I gave this one a shot. For starters it’s a beaut, and a few people have even asked me where I got it from. I mostly use copper when it comes to a Moscow mule, so it’s been fun to use it for water. I bought the riveted one which has a great grip. My lil guy has been known to roll around in the car sometimes and I’m happy to report the lid here is secure with a capital S. Love its slender build that fits nicely into cup holders too! Too early to say how durable it is but I will update this if I have any problems (hoping not!).
