Been My Fiend
Only been a week and it's been used daily without issues. Love having hot drinks since it takes me a long time to enjoy them.

Using it as a candle warmer
I use it as a candle warmer. Need to know that there is no power button. Plug into outlet, set candle on top of warmer, will automatically turn on. It works so well!

Simple, but don't spill on it.
Really like the simplicity of this coffee cup heater and bought two more as gifts. Unfortuately, after a few weeks my sugar-sweetened coffee occasionally spilled onto the surface and eventually caused it to stick to the on/heated position. I have to unplug it to turn it off.

Best work from home purchase I've made!
The media could not be loaded. I've had this coffee warmer for awhile now and felt like it was time to give it a review. I am one of those people whose coffee and tea were always going cold since I take a long time to drink them, and this has completely changed the game! Keeps my drinks hot for hours, and sometimes if there is less liquid in the cup, I have to move it off for a bit because it almost keeps it too hot. Not complaining though, just something to be cautious of once your cup gets low!I have also used this for soups and stews to keep them hot as I work through my lunch, which I probably shouldn't do, but again...slow drinker/water, so I can keep my meals warm for as long as it takes me to eat them! I have a few soup bowls that fit perfectly on the warmer, one pictured above, and they keep the soup nice and hot.One warning - I don't think this thing has an auto shut off feature. I've definitely walked out of the house and left my coffee on the warmer and got back to a crusty muddy puddle in the bottom of my cup. I don't think it would do anything too dangerous, but just something to be wary of!The small light turns on when it is weighted by a cup (even an empty cup will do it, so be careful) and there is a click too so you can tell it turned on. The cord is pretty long so has some reach. My roommate knocked mine on the floor and cracked the outer plastic ring and it seems to still be working fine a month after, though I was watchful of it for awhile. Has held up well!Only other word of warning is to make sure that your cups do not have any drink spilled down the side or on the bottom of the cup before you place it on the warmer. I've done this by accident and it got stuck to the warmer...OOPS. Also it is a heating element, so hot to the touch!! I could see this even working as a candle warmer although I haven't tried that yet, but it definitely seems to get hot enough. Only thing I would change is to make it cordless so it's easier to move around my house, but that's no biggie especially at this price point.Love this thing and recommend it 10/10!!!

Dangerous! Why does Amazon continue to sell this??
The first day I used this, I noticed that instead of keeping my coffee warm, this thing was cooking it. I had a lid on it and when I removed it, the condensation landed on the service with a big hiss and smoke. There is no way to control the heat. I like to cover my mug because if not, the cream makes a skin on top. The next day, the platstic cover that is meant to cover a mug got way more hot than I was comfortable with. So I switched to a stone coaster with a cork surface on one side. Not a half hour after, it started smoking. The coaster, the surface of the “warmer,” and the u def side of it as well. I removed my mug and put it on the table. The tabletop scortched and is ruined. I had to think quickly, so I unplugged it and ran it to the bathroom sink and ran water on it. More hissing and smoking, but fire out. My finger was burnt badly during the whole thing. It blistered and hurt like hell. Hopefully it won’t scar. Now, the seller won’t answer me. Amazon wants me to return it. It’s soaked and most likely cracked. I put it in the trash, so I suppose I’ll have to try to fish it out to return it. I didn’t think in a million years that they’d want me to send such a dangerous item through the return process. I read some of the reviews, but wish I had read more. I look now and see that there are dozens of others with similar experiences dating back at least over a year ago. Why does anyone continue to sell this? It’s not inexpensive. I purposefully bought this one that was twice as much as others thinking I’d get what I paid for. My old one just stopped working after a year or so. But it was cheap. Warm, not the surface of the sun. You could seriously fry an egg on this thing in 30 seconds. Anyway, I hope this helps prevent others from making this mistake.

It's OK.
It gets hot. It looks a bit cheaper in person than in the photos. Shiny cheap plastic. And the fact that it's gravity controlled means that you can't manually turn it on/off. It's easy for this thing to be on without you realizing it because the "on" light is super dim in a bright room. I wish I spent more and got something nicer.
