We have been behind the curve of babyproofing, and bought a big pack of the plastic 2-prong outlet covers. My kiddo is determined to stick anything and everything he can into outlets and wants so badly to peel the individual outlet covers off. I bought a 4-pack of these covers, and they are AMAZING! Easy to install (just don't forget the little plastic spacer between the actual bare outlet and the back of the cover) and SO MUCH BETTER than the cheap plastic covers. Don't get me wrong, the cheap covers have their place, but for the outlets that were the kiddos "favorites" to try to bust into, these are SO GOOD. The amount of force needed to slide the plate over to use is more than a toddler can muster, but not hard for an adult. It's very easy to plug things in, and take them out, but the baby doesn't even mess with these outlets anymore because the thrill of death is beyond his tiny finger strength. Installing a few of these in high kid-traffic areas has been WELL worth it! Thanks for a great product.

Literally so fast to install, just take off the old covers and this will line up in replacement of it! Did 4 outlets in less than 5 minutes. Easy enough to use without annoying me while protecting my baby at the same time

I know this is a product designed for child proofing the home, and in that respect, it does the job very well. The outlets work perfectly- you have to pull the cover to the right in order to get to the exposed socket. Easy for adults when they're plugging something in, not so easy when your sole purpose is to move it with your fingers.But that's not why I bought them. I bought them because i have horribly outdated looking sockets in my house - the ugly yellow kind - and these cover them perfectly. There are outlet covers made for this purpose, but they are more expensive and dont have the safety feature. So why bother with them? I'm so glad I found these. They are a good safety feature to have in a home, and they look nice.
