Joints are glued and nailed for added stability. The wood is finished first with a high quality wood stain in dark walnut. For the "Grey Wash" stars, they are given a subtle white wash over the dark walnut stain. If White is chosen, the stars will be painted in a solid heirloom white finish. Each style is then given a final light sanding to accent the distressed look. Stars can be left free standing or hung. No hardware is required to hang them.
