I was sick and tired of using terrible containers like ziplock or no name containers because they were always flimsy and you could never find the right tops for them. I knew of Cambro's from work as I work in a restaurant. I have seen how the kitchen staff treat them and from experience I know they can take a beating. I have seen them melted, cracked, broken but still usable however, thats not to say they don't work well because they do. These thing can and will take a beating. They will also last a long time, especially if you do not abuse them they can last for a very, very long time. The polycarbonate is quite thick and very high quality which brings across its ruggedness. Now the downside to these are the price. They are quite high especially for only a pack of 3 (2 quart variety). This to me is more of an investment because I believe they do eventually pay themselves off from the lack of buying other food storage containers over and over again. They are also quite large, if you do not have a good place to store them they may not be for you even though they do stack.
