Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell: Dreamland Kindle Edition

WOW!!!=oO I knew after watching Parka's video review that I was going to love this, but I still was BLOWN AWAY with how filled up with GORGEOUS illustrations this book has! And if that wasn't enough there was a wonderful surprise at the end of the book of frame-able prints! I also loved learning about their history and how they met. Sounds like they are true soulmates and it shows in their artwork! Absolutely LOVE this book!!Now if they would only make an adult coloring book for those of us not so talented to color.... At any rate...this book will inspire me for years to come!

OMG, I have pretty much every book published by Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell. I have been a fan of their work for many years, I have to say this is the BEST book of their art that has been published to date. The majority of the art displayed in the book are provided as full page examples and are beautiful examples of their work. The art prints provided in the back of this book are marvelous. All told this is a fabulous book, if your a fan of fantasy art you will not be disappointed!

I only wish I purchased the hardback version vs the Kinde version. The information written in the book is well worth the money especially, the question and answer section, it is new and all worthwhile. The pictures are just too small in the Kindle version and I wish I could blow it up so that I can see the detail better. I hope Amazon can do something about that and send a free update. There is a great difference in price between the 2 but without prior knowledge that the pictures would only be 1/3 the screen size, I feel let down. It has been a long time since I purchased a book on the Kindle that I wished to return - now knowing that I could have returned it if I did not wait for the week to go by - it is partially my fault. I would give this book 5 stars but due to the small images that can only lend a rough knowledge between the color and overall composition of the pieces within, I have to give it 4 stars. If there is a free updated version in the near future where the images are larger I may change this review and change the rating.* I called Amazon instead of using the "Content and Devices" - they were kind and gave me a refund for the return. I just purchased the hardcover edition.

My Third Vallejo/Bell book and did not disappoint. My only complaint is with Amazon. They threw the book in with some other items I ordered in a big box unprotected and destroyed the dust cover.

Boris is a great artist whose works are really inspiring. The printing of this book is of high quality - clear images and vibrant colors. Really love the artworks in it and should be one of the books that I frequently refer to and get inspirations from. Highly recommended.

Mindblowing purchase . Whatever I say about the book will be nothing. Just marvellous . The artworks are not only realistic but alive . In my personal opinion Must collectable book for art lovers and professional artist alike .

El libro ha llegado en buen estado pero sin prencinto plástico. Además le han arrancado el sobre con las 10 láminas. Devuelto. Además de que en 2 días ha pasado de costar 32 euros a 16 euros... Devuelto.
