I love this Salsa Verde! It has such a robust taste, without the heat of other salsas. It pairs will with breakfast meals - it is delicious on egg dishes. I put it in my chicken dishes to add a bit of zest and acid without a lot of heat. It is the zesty, zingy flavor in many of my soups. Not only does it work well as the topping on a main dish, it is just as impactful as an ingredient within an entree recipe.

YUM, YUM! Whatever you like a Salsa Verde on! I like all of their products but I use the "mild" versions of most all them. It's a bit spicy so maybe not for little kids in house or grandma's tender tongue either! Start out and buy the mild in the smaller size and give it a try before you jump to a bottle this size.

I love all Herdez products and this is no exception. But for me the mild version is not my favorite. Next time I’ll order the medium. Good name, Herdez especially for their consistent taste in their product line and the high-quality of ingredients

Good salsa! We eat so much of it so it pays to buy this big bottle! It’s worth the money!

While your typical decent supermarket salsa may cost $5 a jar nowadays, more or less depending on choice, this is still a steal. You should already know that it’s not going to deliver the same taste you may be used to in a chunky red type, like Pace. This has more of an earthy vibe, more authentic, no bitter citric acid aftertaste. You could cook with this salsa as is. I find it extremely mild and bland as a hardcore chile-head, so I add stuff like tamari, fresh lemon juice, cilantro, and diced tomatoes, jalapeños or Serranos to really revive it. For its purpose, as a canvas, it certainly bodes well. And you get plenty of salsa to work with.
