They work for me.
For my desktop browsing and gaming needs they are great, but if you do music then you should probably read those reviews.

Some slight treble loss, same as when swapping new Berydynamic pads for old.
Several people have mentioned some loss of treble with these pads. I have also noticed that when I replace old pads with new Berydynamic pads. I believe that comes from a change in surface hardness between old, stiff, dried up pads and new more supple ones, rather than from some inherent defect in these pads. I've been using this latest set around 8 hours a day for 3 months. There are no rips, tears, bald spots, smoothed out areas, or any visible degradation at all. They look and feel like new. Adhered bits of pizza debris come off easily with a little fingernail work. The feel is slightly different than the Berydynamic pads, but very comfortable and I really have no preference for one or the other. I was able to comfortably wear them for several hours on my first use. They were easy to install with just the right amount of stretch to stay tightly in place, no installation struggling was required. I can't really say if the treble issue has changed in that time, but having gotten used to them I now like the sound very much and have no issues with using them both for everyday listening and critical mixing.

Like 2 fluffy pillows, that don’t ruin the sound that you are intended to hear
Super comfy, fit my Audio-Technica Ti2000’s like a glove. Although sound isn’t as perfect as it was with the factory lamp skin ear pads, these are super comfy,& can be worn for all day listening sessions with ease. This is now the 5th pair of these that I’ve now purchased from this company,& I’ve got a pair for my Audio Technica Ath-W5000’s,& their massive 110mm cups (or maybe 115mm),& they blew me away in overall comfort on those 5000’s, as these pads closed the gaps that the factory leather ear pad had, which I found to be a huge flaw. These work well for sound & noise isolation as well,& block out most external sound, allowing you to have two big pillows up against your head, while you listen to music, or watch Movies on TV,& etc. can’t go wrong for the price,& considering I’ve worn the heck out of most pairs almost daily, none of them even show any wear & tear like normal ear pads tend to show with use. Well constructed ear pads for sure.

Material Degrades at around the 3 year mark
I've had these over 3 years now and the vinyl leather on the back has completely peeled away and the elastic ring is no longer elastic. Arguably still great for $20, but it's still annoying to have the pads start falling off. I never noticed much sound difference because I listen so loud but it defiantly lets sound bleed in and out. Otherwise, these are really comfortable and I do recommend as long as you are alright with the 3 year life. I personally feel I got my moneys worth but I'll save the 5/5 star for an item that lasts longer than 5 years at this price.

Hey. Do you really want to spend $55?
Boy, I really can’t hear a big sonic difference with these from the stock pads. My DT 770 pros are around 12 years old and the pads were just falling apart. The inner pads had also completely deteriorated and I wouldn’t recommend waiting as long as I did to replace them. The inner foam deteriorating has led to me having a driver that buzzes when heavy amounts of bass are pushing them. Bits of foam and hair have defiled the driver. Don’t do what I did, keep them fresh with these pads. The pads are a bit thicker and bit firmer than stock. The velour is very nice and soft, totally comparable to the stock velour. My ears still touch the drivers on the inside personally. As far as thoughts that these may color the sound - I have been a musician and recording artist for a long time now and I think balanced with the cost of a Beyerdynamic pair of pads just go with these. A OEM pair will cost you $40 plus $15 to ship them. One guy said that these don’t sound as good because they don’t have the inner rubber pad to touch against the driver. I took those out of my old pads and used them in these. They ripped right out of the old pad with very little effort and are serving the same purpose in the new pads. People have been falling for audiophile snake oil to a definite degree for a long time now. I think quality is important but the build on these feels solid and to me the difference is negligible.

Poor noise cancellation
Would not recommend if you’re using your headphones for professional music production. They leak sound so bad my mic was getting feedback trying to record vocals. Put the old ones back on and no sound. They are very comfortable and I gave 3 stars because they fit great and are comfortable and for a normal person just listening to music you may not care. But these feel like they have zero noise cancellation. The pads that come stock I’d say have about 70-80% noise cancellation.

DO NOT BUY THESE! - Returning due to awful sound quality with Beyerdynamic DT770 Headphones
I'm a musician and home producer with a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770 headphones. I frequently use my headphones for playing guitar, bass, and keyboard, as well as music production and general music listening. The DT770's are legendary headphones in the business, but one downside are the ear pads. They turn pretty funky after a while. I've been using a leather off-brand set for the past few years that's starting to fall apart. I wanted to switch back to something similar to the gray felt material that the headphones originally came with. I went on Amazon to look for a new pair. Original replacement pads from Beyerdynamic run $35+. I have no beef with buying some second-hand ear pads if they are of similar quality to the originals to save a few bucks. Well, these ones are not. These headphone ear pads came packaged nicely in a press and seal bag. They're very clean, but I had a very difficult time installing them, as they are not similar to the original Beyerdynamic earpads. Once I got them on, they were very comfortable. Then things went really down hill! I tried these ear pads out for a few hours playing guitar and listening to music. They sound absolutely awful! They turned my $200+ Beyerdynamic headphones into a crappy pair of dollar store ear buds. The bass is non-existent, the highs are too high. The headphones just did not sound correct at all. The more I used them, the more I hated them. I have a *very* attuned ear to high quality musical instruments and gear. Especially with headphones, I've owned tons of name-brand headphones in the past, including Sony and Sennheiser headphones. And all I can say is, these ear pads sound like garbage. I'm sorry to the store/manufacturer of these ear pads. I never wanna rip on a business. And, I read some of the bad reviews beforehand, but I thought I'd give these an honest shot, because I had had success with off-brand ear pads before. Well now all I can say is, stay away from these. I agree with some of the other reviewers, that the depth of these headphones is off, and they let some frequencies bleed out. I feel like I wasted time buying and installing these, as well as wasted time writing this review, but I want to help others. I'm not sure why you would bother even making ear pads if they're not gonna perform decently, you're just wasting peoples time and money.

Thicker than the originals but very comfortable
Finally decided to replace the ear pads on my Sennheiser headphones. When I took off the old I realized I should have done this way sooner. Gross! I produce music in my home studio and wear these particular headphones continuously for long periods of time. As such I need them to not only function properly but also be comfortable and not overheat. These pads work flawlessly. Very happy with the product. The pads are a bit thicker than the originals but I did find this affected the fit or sound in any way. Installing them onto the headphones is a bit finicky but that's a feature of the original product design and should not be considered a negative for these replacements.

Really nice. Thicc. Soft
These are much thicker and softer than the stock DT880 pads. My stock pads looked so disgusting after years of use and the cushion inside them was all flat and destroyed. These new guys fit pretty good and are super comfortable. The thiccness of these will make the headphones fit tighter on your head, something to consider. They also change the sound a lot. They changed it so much I had to switch to different music equalizer settings. More bass but not sure if I prefer this over default.

Besser als das Original!
Absolut empfehlenswert!
