These KOMOK 42mm Electric Pruning Shears have quickly become one of my favorite tools I've ever purchased! I was looking for the most powerful, brushless shears I could find when I selected these ones (after doing A LOT of research on powered shears). I have a whole bunch of dead wood branches (dry) and needed to cut 'em down to firewood kindling size. Nearly every pine tree on my property has long been dead from the bark beetles infestation. These KOMOK shears though have not disappointed! If a branch can fit in the jaws of these things, it can make the cut. On a few occasions I had to make a double or triple cut, but those were really big branches, and these KOMOK's STILL made the cut! These are POWERFUL! Concerning safety when using these powered pruners, let me say this about that: It would be UNFORGIVEN to accidentally leave a finger in the path of these JAWS. Even with having a really good "Finger Protection" safety feature, EXTREME CAUTION should be used when operating these things. They're no joke! Children of ALL ages should NEVER be allowed to use these shears. ADULTS ONLY type of thing. Back to the good, these electric pruning shears are AWESOME! The battery pack power will literally last all day! And it comes with 2 battery packs! I can't say enough good about 'em. I've been using 'em heavily for over a year now! The total cut count (which displays on the LCD when you switch it on) is at 40,582! My dad has borrowed them to prune live fruit trees and he really liked 'em as well. These powered pruning shears are expertly designed and BUILT TOUGH! KOMOK has set the new GOLD standard! JUST GET THESE ONES, TRUST ME.

This battery operated Komok 42mm pruner is totally awesome. I have a smaller 1" pruner by another manufacturer, but I never use it now that I have the Komok. PRO: This pruner can cut fairly large branches. It is powerful. The battery life is great. The on-off is a slider switch, and very easy to operate even with thick gloves on. My other pruner times out after a couple of minutes, but the Komok is still ready to go after being set aside for 5 minutes while picking up branches. If you want to put the pruner down with the jaws shut, the quickest way is to pull the trigger and turn it off. CON: Although the pruner cuts branches easily, I didn't think the blade had been sharpened to optimal sharpness, so I used a Felco 903 diamond file and improved the edge. The diamond coating on the blades has the benefit of protecting the blades against rust, but sap and branch debris seems to be more difficult to remove than my other pruner with stainless steel blades. I recommend using Felco 981 Resin Remover each time before putting the Komok away for the day. I'm also a big fan of Felco 980 oil which is in an aerosol spray can. You can tell I am a big fan of Felco maintenance products (as well as their manual pruners and lopers). In recommending them, I have no conflict of interest.

I have been using these electric shears for over a year for home and garden. This single hand tool replaces an array of manual shears and loopers in different sizes that we typically keep around the house to tackle different problems. A single battery has power to spare after a full day of pruning around the 10 acre property tackling brush, vines, and limbs. It cuts anything that fits between the blades... and it will try to cut even bigger limbs. The blade has stayed sharp over nearly two years of use with only a few nicks. Very satisfying! The shears are a hefty weight for those who are less than athletic. The tool feels well balanced with the battery attached. While triggering a cut (squeezing the trigger) is effortless, it does require flawless vigilance to what you are doing. This thing will just as easily take a finger off. The electronic safety feature is a nice touch but NOT a fail safe that prevents you from grabbing a handful of plants with one gloved hand and blindly applying the shears to the bundle and your thumb. Highly recommended. Rewarding for anyone with an endless supply of limbs to prune.

I bought these after a pair I had prior died. The Komok are so superior to my original pair. They are very nimble and can easily get into tight areas for cuts. They open wider than any others I have seen. Having a battery that is not integral to the unit is wonderful. If a battery runs down I just put it on the charger and pop the other one in because it comes with TWO rechargeable batteries.. These pruners are VERY sharp. I recommend you only cut where you can actually seen where you are reaching into. I am very careful because the cut quickly and cleanly. A fellow gardening friend's husband who is an inventor was so impressed with mine he immediately bought one for himself. Yes, these are not cheap, but I can get through yard work so much faster and as I get older it will save my hands and my money because I won't have to hire help in the yard.

This is a very high quality product. I've used mine for about two years. I had the finger saver safety feature turned off when it came on by itself. Now there is no way to turn it off. I put electrical tape over the trigger, and that worked, but not in wet conditions. I finally decided to see if I could fix it. I took the maintenance cover off. I found that the rack and pinion were pretty plugged up with organic matter. I cleaned it, and that didn't fix it. I took the pruner apart. I didn't see a way to reset the microcontroller to restore full functionality. There is a red wire from the trigger to the trigger circuit board. I figured out that the trigger is magnetically activated, and the red wire from the trigger is only a sensor wire. I cut it (with the possibility of soldering it back together). I put new grease on the rack and pinion and reassembled the pruner. It works fine, minus the possibility of using the finger saver. While I was inside, I was impressed by the high quality machining, and care taken in assembly. This is a more expensive unit than many competitors, and I see why it costs more. I would have easily given this five stars if it hadn't glitched. If I lived in a dry climate, the failure wouldn't have bothered me as much. I was surprised by the amount of debris in the rack and pinion. I'll certainly check it more frequently.

I am a 61 year old woman with arthritis in my hands. We have 9 fruit trees that hadn't been pruned for a couple of years. This Komok ate through those sucker branches on the apple, pear, and plum trees almost effortlessly. It is fast, sharp, and strong. The battery life is amazing. The weight isn't to heavy and my arms didn't get tired holding it. The applie trees are old and large and I was able to prune one of them in just over an hour. I almost feel disappointed that I am finished I was having so much fun using this tool. I highly recommend this pruner and would give it a six star if I could. You just turn it on, squeeze the trigger twice and it opens all the way ready to go. You can squeeze the trigger one time and it closes to half way for smaller bushes, like rose bushes. If you want to turn it off you hold the trigger, it beeps twice, then wait and it beeps once more and the blades close and it powers down.

The customer service is awesome, the tool works beautifully. I have small hands and arthritis so it was time to get something to trim the bushes and trees that never stop growing in Florida. Above is a photo of an Arabian Lilac that toppled over a few days ago and had to be heavily trimmed to save it. The storm was so strong it whipped around like a tornado. The limbs were larger than an inch and very hard wood. The clippers worked great and we got the job done in less than an hour. Hand trimmers would have taken forever. The cuts are clean and precise so no worries about cracking etc. Just work carefully and don't get your fingers anywhere near the blades when using or when removing the batteries. Its lighter than it looks so fatigue was not a problem. Just can only say positive things about this. I also bought the smaller one as well so that when my husband and I work together one cuts the big stuff and the other trims to fit into the recycle bin. It never freezes here so we are going to get lots of use out of these tools. Love love it. A must tool for hurricane season, which is now upon us ugh.

I bought this mainly for pruning blueberry bushes(about 900). I charged batteries and gave it a short trial run, it was great! MUCH easier than a long handled pruning shears. Better keep fingers out of the way, I think it could take them off!. Since I don't like crawling in the snow, I will probably be waiting a few weeks before I can give a report on battery run time. Been pruning blueberries for three days now. BAttery lasts almost three hours, not sure how long charge time is but the next battery is ready when the one in use needs to be replaced. I got into some bigger canes today, probably 1.25 inches. It would not cut them off without a few pulls of the trigger. Most of what I cut is 1 inch or smaller and it takes them off really slick. This is a huge time saver compared to a long handled pruning shears, and much easier on my shoulders and arms. I oil with chain saw bar oil before I start for the day. I still give the Komok battery operated pruning shears a 5+. Will possibly buy another one next w inter.

La lama è davvero affilata, taglia qualsiasi cosa premendo semplicemente il grilletto del dispositivo. Nel kit ho trovato 2 batterie, chiave esagonale ed un altra chiave per cambiare la lama, il caricatore, manuale utente e garanzia. Poi la valigetta rende il trasporto molto comodo e pratico. Posterò un video nei prossimi giorni, per ora mi ritengo soddisfatto!

Ich schreibe selten Rezensionen. Bei dieser Maschine muss es aber sein. Nach über 12000 Schnitten funktioniert sie immer noch einwandfrei. Ob dünne oder dickere Aste, sie macht ihre Arbeit. Sie liegt gut in der Hand. Ist nicht zu schwer. Damit kann man lange ermüdungsfrei arbeiten. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Ich habe sie regulär bei Amazon gekauft. Also kein Sponsoring oder ähnliches.
